The two car garage offers plenty of parking space for cars or a golf cart. You will find teak furniture, comfortable queen-sized beds, over-stuffed sofas and chairs, TVs in the bedrooms and a big screen TV in living room, cable Internet. Enjoy afternoon naps without the bright desert sun keeping you up because every window has an interior sun shutter to completely block out the sun's rays. Or if you prefer to sit outside on our covered patio, we offer you retractable sun shades to control the sun light so every afternoon is perfect for you. Your retreat home is located close to shopping malls, casual and fine dinning experiences and recreational fun. Sun City is an active adult community located about 30 minutes northwest of downtown Phoenix. An expanding network of freeways makes it easy to access any part of the Valley of the Sun including the impressive Sky Harbor International airport, exclusive Scottsdale shopping, and the beautiful new 400 million dollar University of Phoenix stadium, home of the NFL Cardinals and 2008 Super Bowl. Within a 20 minute drive are two baseball spring training stadiums with two additional stadiums in the planning stage. Next the the new University of Phoenix stadium is the new arena home of the NHL Coyotes and beautiful Lake Pleasant with its miles of fishing, sailing and boating pleasures is close by. Only minutes away, the Arrowhead shopping mall offers major department stores, and two multi-screen movie theaters with stadium seating are also nearby along with many fine nationally known restaurants. Two hours north, you will find the spectacular red rock country of Sedona!

We make entertaining easy...: Since so many of our guests love to entertain, we make it easy for you. Of course we have a fully stocked kitchen just like you'd expect. We also provide six place settings of Noritake dishes for use in the kitchen eating area or the dining room. In fact, you'll find that the dining room and the Noritake dishes are coordinated. The real beauty of this home and of Arizona is located outside. So why eat and entertain just inside? We have great patio furniture and patio-safe dishes. We have added a new dining table made from iron wood (with a built-in lazy susan) that seats 6. We also added six new aluminum and wood chairs too. Now you can easily seat 10 at our two patio tables for your dining entertainment. But we didn't stop there. We added a two-seat rocker/glider and a chaise and two more folding chairs so you can have seating for 15 on your vacation patio! That's entertaining!

A Great Stay

I've stayed in a number of home vacation rentals, and this one really delivers. It is comfortable and quiet, and comes with more patio furniture than you'll ever need. The house is on the edge of Sun City (close to Sun City West). The rental agreement is long, but clear. I kind of liked that because some of the ones I've had in the past seemed to leave a lot of unanswered questions and always left me a little uneasy. You get guest passes to the recreation centers and pools and the utilities are included. The bed was comfortable and like being in a 4-star hotel. Those spa robes are nice too. We didn't sleep in the 2nd bedroom, but it looks real nice. The bedrooms are the best rooms in the house. The kitchen is fine and was stocked with the basics, and the bathrooms were clean and nice too. It was a nice stay with no suprises, and my wife and I will be back again.

Wonderful Stay

My daughter and I stayed for 2 weeks in August, being in Arizona for business. Yes it is the hottest time of the year, but it was wonderful. I worked in the travel industry for over 15 years and this rental was perfect. The house is so sweet in person, the pictures don't do it justice. We enjoyed the well appointed bedrooms, extremely comfortable beds, cool comfy living room, and the excellent kitchen. Early morning and evenings we spent relaxing on the lanai. This is the only property I've ever rented where the owner supplied a guest book with everything from entertainment and restaurants to medical facilities and shopping. It was very helpful in getting around the city. The recreation centers were convenient and everyone very friendly. We found in the guestbook a restaurant called "Thee Pitts Again!". What great barbeque! We will definitely return for a full month next time.
