Summary - very conveniently located, clean, well equipped and comfortable apartment accurately described on the Vacation rental site.
I spent 4 nights here with my wife and 14 yr old son in October 2008.
The apartment is part of a gated complex whose entrance is directly off International Drive. The apartment is on the far side of the complex so is quiet. A significant number of the properties are occupied by people who live there. The apartment is looked after by a lady who is very helpful and lives and works on the complex. It is no more than a 5 min drive to Seaworld and about 10 mins to Islands of Adventure/Universal studios.
The apartment has a spacious open plan main room which has a sitting area, dining area and kitchen, divided off by a breakfast bar. There are 2 separate bedrooms - 1 with a double and 1 with 2 doubles. Both bedrooms have large walkin cupboards with plenty of hangers. There is a bathroom with bath (and shower) WC and basin. There is also a small room which has separate washing machine and tumble dryer. The apartment was very clean as were all the sheets and towels (of which there were plenty). The furniture and decoration were in good condition. There are 2 TVs and internet access although we did not use that.
The kitchen is fully kitted out with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. It has a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. We ate in most nights and were happy to prepare and eat our meals in the apartment. There is a large Publix supermarket (and other shops) on International Drive about 3 mins away in car.(You have to turn right out of complex, make a U turn at the 1st opening in central reservation and then it is on the right set back from road after about a mile).
The complex has attractive and well maintained grounds. There is an outdoor pool, tennis court, basketball court, kids playground and a gym with modern machines (about 6). The only quibble is that the entrance corrider onto which the flats open is slightly utilitarian looking but the flat itself is nice so do not worry.
The potential downside for some people is that the apartment is on the 3rd (USA) 2nd (UK) floor and there is no lift - the owner makes this plain so no surprises.
