Saugatuck/Douglas is known as the Art Coast of the Midwest featuring dozens of art galleries. From boat charters, jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, shopping, live theater, live music, color tours, winery tours. No matter what the season there's always something to do in Saugatuck/Douglas. The cottage features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, living room, family room, dining room, kitchen. The back yard features all flowers and ground cover. The flowing water in the koi pond will relax you. For those cool evenings jump into the hot tub. The downtown area is a very short walk (approx 4 minutes walk) for dining, bars, shopping, coffee shops, live theater.

Location, Location, Location: Not many properties beat this location! It's just a very short four minute walk to downtown Saugatuck. The Saugatuck Center for the Arts, Restaurants, Art Galleries, Shops, Shopping, Bars, etc.

Lake Michigan: Our central location allows you the opportunity to walk to Oval Beach via the Chain Ferry however there are several hills. You can also take the local 'Dial A Ride' (Interurban). It's very cheap and will pick you up at the Cottage and take you anywhere in Saugatuck, Douglas or Saugatuck Township.

We were very surprised at how clean the property was and the great location. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. It was nice to not have to drive downtown and fight for parking. We had our own parking right at the house. The hot tub was a great bonus after a long day at the beach and overlooking the wonderful gardens. Thanks for renting to us! We will be back next year.
