We J-U-S-T started taking reservations for 2010 in November, so hurry - our calendar is filling up fast! Our home, 'Promise Kept' features a manicured, level, half acre lot that is perfect for games of volleyball, kickball, etc. and provides plenty of space for the kids to run and play. Our home offers a natural shale stone beach stretching over 115' with a stone fire ring that is ideal for toasting marshmallows at night, or cooking over an open fire. The dock extends over 120 feet off the beach and is the perfect platform for the shore angler. The entire main level has hardwood flooring and features a vaulted great room with floor to ceiling windows and sliding glass doors that offer a panoramic, million dollar view of one of the widest parts of Seneca Lake. We've spent many relaxing evenings on the deck with friends and family taking in the amazing view and enjoying a bottle of fine wine from one of the many local wineries - and invite you to do the same. New 6 person hot tub!

  • One Week = Sunday to Sunday
  • - We are dog lovers (Labrador Owners) and accept dogs on a case-by-case basis with a non-refundable deposit of $35/day or $225/week ($50 for an additional dog - again on a case-by-case basis). We accept credit card payment (VISA, MC, AMEX, Discover) through our secure virtual terminal via PayPal. We have a mandatory cleaning fee of $100 for all rentals in order to keep the lake house immaculate for all of our guests.

    - All sales within 60 days of the confirmed rental period are final.

    - Cancellations before the 60 day confirmed rental period are subject to a $250 cancellation fee.
  • Check-in: after 4:00 PM on arrival day. Check-out: by 10:00 AM on departure day. While in town, if you need immediate assistance please contact my Father, Pat Hoke and/or my stepmother Brenda Olsen at their home number (they are local) - we will provide you with this number upon completion of the rental agreement. When you check out, we ask that you leave the cottage/home as close as possible to the condition you found it in. Please quickly clean out the refrigerator, stack the dishwasher, leave the linens in piles on the beds, take the trash to the street in the appropriate receptacles, and wipe down all countertops. If these tasks are not completed you will be charged an additional $100.00 cleaning fee. There is NO smoking inside the cottage. Items lost or damaged during your stay will be deducted from your credit card on file at full replacement value.

This house was great for the perfect get-a-way. Pat was very helpful . Todd was so nice giving us advice on where to fish and where to rent the boat. We rented a boat and kept it docked for a few days. Very Convienent!!!! Our vacation was exactly how we wanted it (peace and quiet) away from eveyday city life! I would highly recommend this house for rent. It felt more like a Home. The Place was spotless!

Wine Trail Vacation

From the moment we arrived we were amazed at how beautiful and well kept this home is. Every year 4 or 5 of us girls rent a few hotel rooms for the Wine and Cheese event but this year we decided to rent a home for more space. The house was immaculate and had all the comforts of home. We would do the wine tour by day and spend the evening on the deck. No one wanted to leave the house to do dinner out as it was just too nice, so we would grill at home. For those who wanted their own space there was plenty of room to wander about in the many rooms on 2 different floors for a bit of down time. The owners of the house are very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a place to rent on the wine trail or even just for a lovely vacation get away on the lake this is the place for you.

The house was perfect for our group of 11! The 3 1/2 bathrooms were perfect. The kitchen and connected dining room was great and spacious. The downstairs provided an open and inviting get away when needed. Hot tub was relaxing! The wrap around deck and the view with all of the windows was spectacular!! We had everything we needed there for our stay (pots/pans/dishes/silverware...). Would definitely stay again!!

We had a great stay at the home. Great that we could bring our dogs with us. The neighbor is quiet and far from the road so you don't have to hear traffic. Beautiful view and wonderful home. Any problems or questions were taken care of right away. thank you

Even in the winter the beauty of Seneca Lake with it's rolling hills and vineyards all around was enjoyed at this lovely lakehouse. The rising sun over the hills is beautiful - worth getting up early to see!
A very spacious, clean house with a nice modern kitchen and lovely decorated bedrooms! And 3 1/2 baths - what a luxury!
