Our home, 'Promise Kept' features a professionally manicured, level, half acre lot that is perfect for games of volleyball, kickball, frisbee, etc. Our home offers a natural shale stone beach stretching over 115' with gradual water depth & is ideal for toasting marshmallows at night, or cooking over an open fire. We have all the modern amenities one could ask for: central heat and AC, a modern cherry kitchen, new appliances, 4br & 3.5 ba's & new full sized washer/dryer. The entire main level has hardwood flooring and features a vaulted great room with floor to ceiling windows and sliding glass doors that offer a panoramic, MILLION DOLLAR VIEW of one of the widest parts of Seneca Lake. We've spent many relaxing evenings on the deck with friends and family taking in the amazing view and enjoying a bottle of fine wine from one of the many local wineries - and invite you to do the same!

  • One Week = Sunday to Sunday
  • - We are dog lovers (Labrador Owners) and accept dogs on a case-by-case basis with a non-refundable deposit of $35/day or $245/week ($50 for an additional dog - again on a case-by-case basis). We accept credit card payment (VISA, MC, AMEX, Discover) through our secure virtual terminal via PayPal. We have a mandatory cleaning fee of $100 for all rentals in order to keep the lake house immaculate for all of our guests.

    - All sales within 60 days of the confirmed rental period are final.

    - Cancellations before the 60 day confirmed rental period are subject to a $250 cancellation fee.
  • Check-in: after 4:00 PM on arrival day. Check-out: by 10:00 AM on departure day. While in town, if you need immediate assistance please contact my Father, Pat Hoke and/or my stepmother Brenda Olsen at their home number (they are local) - we will provide you with this number upon completion of the rental agreement. When you check out, we ask that you leave the cottage/home as close as possible to the condition you found it in. Please empty the refrigerator, stack the dishwasher, leave the linens in piles on the beds, take the trash to the street in the appropriate receptacles, and wipe down the countertops. If these tasks are not completed you will be charged an additional $100.00 cleaning fee. There is NO smoking inside the cottage. Items damaged during your stay will be deducted from your credit card on file. We are excited to share our home with you!!! :-)

Perry Point Cottage on Seneca Lake

We were in the fingerlakes to attend our daughters wedding. I wanted a cottage that would house my extended family. The Perry Point cottage on Seneca Lake was beautiful. The online pictures show the cottage perfectly. The living and dining rooms overlook the lake and it is absolutely gorgeous. The cottage was spotless, there are four good sized bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms and you have all the amenities of home. The deck is the entire width of the house and we sat out there with our coffee in the morning. I would highly recommend this cottage to everyone. The hot tub was an added bonus.

Great place for a large family to unwind

I can't say enough about this place. It's large and very open. The living room features a Cathedral ceiling and opens into the dining room and kitchen. There are four bedrooms, including a wonderful master suite, and 3 1/2 baths. No waiting for a shower. Two of the bedrooms are in the finished basement. Don't let a previous review scare you off. We were also worried about "sleeping in the basement" but it's like a regular floor down there. The bedrooms are nice and clean, and there's a large open area to put air mattresses or just sit on the futon and watch TV. No flat screen TVs, but the 32 inch TV in the living room was sufficient.
DirectTV and wireless are a plus. We used them a lot.
Penn Yan is about 5 miles away. Plenty of stores there.
The deck is on the second level, and it's a two-flight walk down the stairs to the water. Not ideal, but hardly a deal breaker for us. Very quiet area, well maintained.
We enjoyed the place very much. My sister-in-law gave it a A+++++ and we plan to be back in 2012.

Second time renting this great house! We had a ball! Centrally located and we were able to visit 18 wineries in 2 days. Everything was perfect. We'll be back again.

I have rented the home on two different occasions. I have had a wonderful experience each time. The view from the house is amazing. You will feel right at home. It is a nice place to have a relaxing vacation. The neighborhood is also very nice. The neighbors even came over and introduced themselves during my first stay.

A Memorable Family Vacation

My family and I visited this location this past June. I cannot express how peaceful this place is. You feel like you are in another world. The home was cozy and perfect for three families sharing a vacation. We have made memories that will last a lifetime here. Our kids fishing off the pier, visiting wineries, making smores, and just being together in a perfect family vacation home. I highly recommend this as a spot for others.
