We are located in the Historic West End Village two doors up from Commercial Street and the famous Cap't Jack's Wharf. The Patio was completely renovated in 2007 and everything is brand new - interior, exterior, & all mechanical systems. The apartment is light and airy with one bedroom and opens onto the courtyard. The unit has hardwood stained floors, tumbled marble in the kitchen with bead board cabinets and new appliances including dishwasher and laundry. Bath has honed limestone custom tile shower and floor. Our apartments are owner cleaned and pristine. We provide all linens and towels and an amply equipped kitchen as well as satellite TV, local phone service, wireless internet and one parking space. There is an outdoor courtyard with grill. We are a short walk in to town center for restaurants, shopping and galleries or bike to the many National Seashore Beaches and bike trails.

Nice place, great location

We stayed at the Patio (in the second-floor, one-bedroom unit) in September 2007 for a post Labor Day getaway. No regrets! The property recently underwent an extensive renovation. It was spotless, modern, and stylish. The kitchen is small, but well-equipped. The bedroom loft, at the top of a spiral staircase, is bright and sunny, and has a small deck with Adirondack chairs and a partial view of the bay. The common area is inviting and well kept. The owners are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. (We have a dog and also requested an early check-in.) We're very much looking forward to returning for a week in 2008, possibly in the two-story (plus loft), two-bedroom unit.

Pros: New and squeaky clean, parking for one car, in-unit laundry, perfect location (easy walk to downtown, bike rentals, and beach), pet friendly.

A few things to consider: Living room furniture (in the unit we rented) seats no more than two comfortably, no A/C (not critical most weeks), no ironing board, limited closet/drawer storage.

Rent with confidence.

Here I am looking for summer 2009 accommodations when I realize I neglected to write a review for our stay at the Patio. My husband and I found the one bedroom unit on the ground floor with short notice for a long fall weekend. Best of all, pets were welcome. It was a perfect post season getaway. Very clean, a quiet west end location and a short walk to the center of town. The courtyard was great for relaxing in front of the chiminea. The unit had everything we needed. The surrounding properties were empty or had VERY quiet tenants, so we felt very private. Julie was very accommodating and flexible with check in/out which was a big plus in making the most of a few short days. Highly recommend.

Clean, comfortable rental in quiet area.

My husband and I rented a unit at The Patio for two nights midweek in October. The unit was clean and comfortable and well equipped. Our door opened onto the patio which was furnished with two outdoor rockers and couch, along with the chiminea which we used while enjoying the stars and peaceful night. We will most likely stay there again, so I guess that means I recommend it highly (and this comes from a former landlord of rental property, so I know what I'm talking about). It was nice to be able to walk into town, too, so it was very convenient.

Great Place To Stay in PT-Town Highly Reccomend

We had a great time at the Patio. Very new condo and fully epuiped, beautiful garden an seating areas, where we BBQ every night. The Patio is in a quiet / peaceful west end area, but just a walk away from the action on Commercial street. The two in town beachs are just down the street and very close is a bike rental just up the street. The Patio is very pet friendly , while we were there all the units were full with owners and their pets. Julie
( one of the owners) was great and very accomendating.
After spending our days at the beach we truely enjoyed cooling off upstairs on the deck which gets the morning sun , so it was relaxing sitting out of the sun in the afternoon. There was no A/C but this did not present a problem at all because the ocean breeze was plenty and with the unit having all those large windows opened it was very comfortable!
I read the last review in regards to them not having an iron , this was not the case for us and we had plenty of closet space.
Our dog was very at home at the patio and we will surely stay again at this beautifully kept condo in the future. Thanks again Julie
