DESCRIPTION: Lovely and recently decorated/furnished home on almost 3 acres in Osterville’s highly desired “Seapuit” community, abutting North Bay. A gracious and comfortable gem amongst very substantial homes & estates. A short walk brings you to the Cape's most charming village, Cape Cod Academy, wonderful fitness center, and scenic bayfronts. Bike to beautiful Dowses Beach in 10 minutes. Three TVs (one high definition) plus hi-speed wireless computer access. Each bedroom has its own private bath. Screened porch and patio (gas BBQ) are well-furnished for casual dining and relaxing, with views of sweeping lawns, beautiful shrubs and trees (professionally landscaped). Best of all is the enjoyment of quiet, privacy, and the sounds & sights of nature in our Seapuit neighborhood. *Owner also speaks Japanese.

Osterville is Cape Cod's most charming and vibrant community, located between Hyannisport (home of Kennedy family compound) and Cotuit, mid-Cape on Nantucket Sound. It is a destination village, 'off the beaten track' and removed from pass-through tourist traffic found everywhere else. The Village and its marinas have wonderful restaurants, for both casual and fine dining. The shops and art galleries are full of beautiful and unique offerings. Our own Dowses Beach is pristine, and there are two private golf clubs, plus lots of other courses nearby. Day trips to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard and Boston are always a treat.

TEMPORARY OR SHORT TERM AVAILABILITIES ALSO : This home is located in Osterville's Seapuit community (abutting North Bay), a unique upscale community of primarily year-round professionals and executives, as well as others who use their Cape home as a second residence for summers and weekend retreats all year. Our 2008 Summer/Fall tenants (4 months) returned for summer/fall 2009. Many previous tenants have requested repeat visits. Some former tenants included couples or families requiring temporary housing (e.g., during construction of their own homes), and these folks have praised its privacy, gorgeous surrounding nature, comfort, amenities, and tasteful decor. Also, its convenience to Osterville's robust and friendly year-round village, as well as easy access to the mid-Cape highway and commercial centers on the Cape.
