What's There to Do?
There are lots of options. Conditions are ideal for boating, sailing, fishing, swimming, snorkeling and beach combing - or hiking, biking, birding and exploring - or, if you prefer, simply reading or relaxing. It's a world of sparkling blue water, with privacy and tranquility, a place people return to year after year for relaxation and renewal. 1/2 mile from grocery store, shops and restaurants. With good paved roads you can reach many of the best national parks in Costa Rica with in one hour and a half drive: Palo Verde, Santa Rosa, Rincon de la Vieja, Las Baulas (Leatherback turtles). There is a 18 golf course at 1/2 hour drive, a Canopy tour at 25 minute drive.
The village:
Playa del Coco is one of the last real fisherman village in Costa Rica. There is no big resort around but it is just 15 minutes drive from the large resorts of Playa Hermosa and the Papagayo development. With good paved roads you can reach many of the best national parks in Costa Rica within 1 1/2 hour drive.
