Situated on Lake Sinca, this well-appointed home is located in the private community of Greenwood Acres, in the Lake Harmony area of Blakeslee, Pennsylvania. It is a 2 story, 2100 square foot lake-front home that has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A group of up to 8 persons can very comfortably occupy this home.
Located on the 1st floor of our home is the great room that has a gas fireplace and a 50' LCD TV with a DVD player. The modern kitchen has stainless steel appliances, spacious countertops and a center island with seating, and is perfect for cooking. The kitchen is fully equipped with all basic cookware, dishware including a microwave, induction stove, coffee maker, blender and a toaster. Off the kitchen is a formal dining room. Located on the 2nd floor are 3 bedrooms which all have queen-sized beds. The den on the 1st floor has a pull-out queen sized bed also. High-speed wireless internet is available. Out back, dine al fresco on our spacious deck, enjoy boating on the lake, or sunbath or swim to your hearts content.
In the summer enjoy the water parks, or fish from our fully stocked fishing lake. For those race fans, Pocono Raceway is a stone's throw away. In the winter, ski Jack Frost/Big Boulder which is 8 minutes or Camelback Mountain for a little more of a challenge and is a convenient 15 minutes’ drive. You can also enjoy antique or outlet shopping, also within a convenient driving distance.

Fun!: The Lake House overlooks Lake Sinca, conveniently situated between Jack Frost/Big Boulder and Camelback ski areas, where you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing in the winter. In summer, Camelback becomes Camel beach--an award winning water park with many amazing water rides. Nearby activities include several golf courses (including Jack Frost National, now open), miniature golf, whitewater rafting, snowmobiling, horseback riding, antiquing, The Crossings Outlets, Hickory Run State Park, Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, Jim Thorpe, Lake Harmony, Split Rock, Pocono Raceway as well as Pocono Mountain Festivals. If you want to try your hand at the tables or slots, we are approx. 20 miles from Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs’ casino. Our private, secure, four season community offers a lake with a private beach. The lake is stocked with fish (note: license required). Non-motorized boats only can be rented from one of the conveniently located rental shops minutes from the house. Guests are able to use row boat and/or paddle boat.
Housekeeping: Prior to your rental, our housekeeper will prepare the house to best accommodate your needs with freshly changed linens, however, please bring your own towels.

'I just wanted to say Thank You for allowing me to rent your home this weekend (6/29-7/1/12). It was absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for. It is conveniently located near so many things in the Poconos (not to mention Wawa and Dunkin Donuts) -- I think that is a huge selling point as well. It is secluded and definitely gives you peace and quiet, which we all need from time to time. The lake out back and the beach right next door was incredible.'
