The Tahoe Cedarwood is the vacation location if you are single, married, a family, honeymooning, or planning one. Just 4 blocks from the beach on Lake Tahoe’s beautiful North Shore. This lovely home is within 30 minutes drive to over 10 internationally known winter ski resorts, as well as, over 12 Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Robert Trent Jones summer golf courses. Ice skating all year is as close as Northstar at Lake Tahoe, just 5 miles away or at Squaw Valley just over 15 miles. Equestrian trails (along with horses and trail guides) or mountain biking (from easy to extreme) are available throughout the area. Carefree hiking, biking, picnicking, and fishing abounds, with rental services within 5 blocks in case you forget your toys. There’s a boat launch within one mile. Winter snowmobiling/tours are just 5 miles away, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, are within 1 mile. Historic Virginia City, with its gold and silver mines, is just 1 hour's drive.

The course remains a family owned course committed to organic management practices.

Great place to stay

This house was great. It had a wonderful rustic feel but with all the modern amenities. The kitchen had everything needed to feel right at home. The beds were extremely comfortable with plenty of pillows. The fireplace was easy to use and kept the place at a perfect temperature. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back.

Coming from the UK with high expectations we were relieved and totally delighted to find this rental property both well-maintained and in a great location.
It is a charming cosy property with a fabulous clean, modern, well equipped kitchen.
We were there for a ten day stay and found the heating efficient and the hot water plentiful. The beds were comfortable and the equipment worked well including the wi-fi internet service.
The location for us (skiing) was awesome, central to many wonderful mountains for days of fun. Rental and supplies are just down the road as is the beach for a nice walk.
An ideal property for the four of us winning a huge thumbs up for its character and location. I can't think of any downsides.
I would recommend this property.

Very comfortable, well-equipped cabin in the woods

- The managers were very friendly and helpful
- Well Maintained
- Gas stove provided ample heat and coziness
- Kitchen had wonderful appliances and enough pots, pans, dishes to cook with
- Bathrooms were clean and had individual heaters
- Loved the location! Close to main highway, but quiet and off the road a bit
- The only downside was the trouble we had with the wireless internet service. After several visits, the modem connection was restored, but never got wireless functioning
- BUT, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family!
Owner's Response: Subsequently, the wireless functionality was restored. Do come again.
