Log Home - 3 Bedrooms + Loft - 3 Baths - (Sleeps 6-8)

This is the North Shore's Ultimate Luxury Log Home! 'Brand New' three bedroom, three bath log home finely crafted and designed, built in 2007 and located just 40' from lake Superior, tucked away in a private area of white pine trees and a small babbling creek awaits you!

From the loft to the lower level you will find only the best accommodations, all granite counter tops, family friendly, fully equipped kitchen with designer stainless steel appliances, heated floors, see through slate fireplace from great room to master bedroom. Careful attention has been devoted to every detail, three flat screen TVs, DVD/VCR with Dish Satellite service, walkout lakefront covered deck with furniture and gas grill.

Watch the waves crash in on the shore, listen to the water at night 'lull' you to sleep and awake to a beautiful sunrise all this will make your stay a memorable one!

Hike, bike or just enjoy the incredable lake views: The main level features; Great room with two very confortable leather couchs and chairs make for a super conversation area for the family, vaulted ceilings and fireplace. The dining room has seating for 7 people at the table and their is a breakfast area next to the table. Large private bedroom features king size bed, full-bath including a whirlpool tub and shower, 32' flat panel TV.

Every level has a full bath, bedroom and rec / loft area. (Very private.)

Upper and lower level: Upper level features: Loft that overlooks great room and Lake Superior, full bath and bedroom with queen size bed.

Lower level features; Full bath, queen bed, Family room with couch, two chairs and coffee table, 32' TV, DVD/VCR. Recreation room has a game table with four chairs and full laundry, washer and dryer, iron and ironing board.

Notes: Fantastic deck furniture! Couch, chair and ottoman, picnic table that seats 6-8 plus, two more rocking chairs!! The whole family can enjoy the views of Lake Superior and if they want to get closer, just walk down 6 steps and your on flat ground and path that leads to the beach!

Our family of five, including three teenage daughters, stayed in the home for three nights over the July 4th weekend. The house is absolutely beautiful - exactly as advertised. The decor was comfortable and very updated. We found the place to be very spacious, clean and well stocked

Besides enjoying this beautiful log home, we loved the setting on Lake Superior near so many wonderful state parks. We spent time kayaking on a wilderness lake, hiking along the rivers, visiting Grand Marais and relaxing on the rocks in front of the home. We would highly recommend this home to others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The views of Superior from the cabin were amazing. The interior of the cabin is gorgeous as well. We appreciated all of the small touches that made the cabin more welcoming, from the games and DVDs downstairs to the well-equipped kitchen on the main floor. We hope to make a trip up to this cabin an annual, or even semi-annual event.

Lovely home and great location

We stayed at Jerry's home for three nights in August with our kids and it was wonderful. The furniture is very comfortable, both inside and out. We loved climbing on the rocks by Lake Superior, making fires on the beach, and making meals in the beautiful kitchen. We had a terrific stay in this beautiful house and would love to stay there again sometime.

You Must Stay Here!!!

This place is incredible and Jerry has been incredibly accomodating throughout the whole process. Myself and some friends stayed up there as a way to stay in touch now that we are all graduated from college and have limited time to all see eachother now days. This was the perfect spot. I have always loved the Lutsen area and this puts you close to it all while still having the feel of getting away from the twin cities. We loved staying out by the fire and relaxing and a couple of my friends even jumped on in and swam out to a rock a little ways out which was a sight to see. Jerry also has upgraded furniture from what i can tell compared to the other units - The desk furniture is very comfortable and looks a lot nicer compared to next doors units.

If you are looking for the perfect place to stay, this is it!! You will not be disappointed. Thank you again Jerry for making such a wonderful experience possible!

A Great Way to Experience the North Shore

The rental was all we expected and more. The weather was perfect - four absolutely spectacular days! I woke up this morning and looked out at our little Brainerd lake and felt sad that it was not Lake Superior. My family did lots of hiking up the Baptism, Temperance and Cascade Rivers. We visited Naniboujou and Grand Marais with the "tourists" and took home Sven and Ole's pizzas for one of our family dinners. Our cousins were staying at Sugar Sand Resort and Bluefin Bay so we had several meals together.

The young children absolutely loved the rocks and the beach - they fed the gulls and made fires each night......never even requested their electronic video games!

The adults appreciated the amenities in the cabin and especially enjoyed being so close to the water. It was a joy to spend an hour or two with a book on the deck!

Hope we can rebook again next year!
