Located in the heart of the Finger Lakes, Endless Summer has it all. Our year around Lake House is a great place for one or two families to vacation. In the summer months there is swimming, fishing, sunbathing, water skiing. If you choose to bring your boat our electric boat hoist has an 8000 lb lift capability. We are just one step to the sparkling waters of Seneca Lake. In the winter months you are just a small distance away from snow skiing. Our beautiful sunsets can be viewed from our well furnished sun porch or take a walk down our 6' by 7 0' dock and enjoy the magnificent view. There are plenty of outdoor furniture along with a gas grill as well as a fire pit to roast your marshmallows. You are just minutes away from many fine restaurants and wineries. We have two restaurants just 5 miles away that have deck dining along with music and dancing. Happy hour begins at five!!!!! Endless Summer has a fully equipped kitchen, and Laundry room.

Endless Summer is equipped with pillows, blankets/comforters, sheets and mattress pads. Kitchen towels and bath towels are also included. You might want to bring water shoes and beach towels for swimming. All vacation homes are equipped with cutlery, place settings, cups and glasses for the total number of occupants listed in the property description. Our home has a coffee maker, toaster, mixing bowls, pots and pans. Based on your cooking needs, you might want to bring other specialty items. Please bring extra paper products, detergent, charcoal and trash bags. You could also buy them when you arrive, if you choose. Winter guests who are renting may want to use our wood burning fireplaces. Please bring fire starters, kindling and wood. Everything also can be purchased locally. We will be more than happy to provide directions to local stores and shops. Other amenities: Include a Large 6’ by 70’ foot dock for plenty of sun, 4 feet of water at end of dock, 8000 lbs. Great Lakefront Retreat

I can't remember a more relaxing vacation than the one spent here over Labor Day Weekend. Many of our family members live in the area so it was a great place for all of us to congregate by the lake, bbq outside, build a bonfire, and just chill. Five of us slept there, then the 2 grandkids joined us and it was perfect. Yes, it's rustic, but this is the lake! We took good care of the place and it served our needs perfectly. If you are looking for a fancy, stately home where you can't have fun, don't go here! But if you want to be in a low key, functional and user-friendly lake house, this is the place to be. Steve, the owner, was great, stopped by to say 'hi,' and we felt totally at ease here. The family wants to come back next year (we'll rent a boat somewhere). Thanks for helping make our family reunion such a pleasure in a relaxing setting. The fabulous weather added to the beauty of the sunsets, and swimming, boating, canoeing and just chilling.

Wonderful cabin on Seneca Lake!

Hi. My husband I rented this sweet cabin for six months over the fall/ winter (while our house was being built). We loved our stay. Steve and Linda are wonderful people. The neighbors were very nice and lived full time on the lake (one has a boat he will rent out). The house was spotless when we moved in and I hired a weekly housekeeper to keep it so. Yes, we received our full deposit back.

Seneca Lake takes on a different beauty during the winter. I never tired of the gorgeous views. There are a number of rooms available and this would be great rental for a large family. The two working fireplaces were wonderful. The laundry room is a plus too (most rental do not have this). Anyway, I cannot say enough good things about our stay on the lake. Thank you again Linda and Steve. Debbie and Ed

Make sure of inspection before you leave

This is a small and plain cottage on Seneca Lake.
It's not so clean, not so dirty. Almost the same as valuable as the rent.

The neighbor is so kind as to watch ours just for the case.

Shops are not far from the cottage thus you do not need prepare all the things you need.

For the case of deposit, the owner withdrew extracharge by using credit card informaiton of renter, without prior check who are responsible for the damage.

You could receive e-mail that the owner withdrew some amount of money but no detailed explanation how he calculated it.

For our case, he even charged plumbing cost of the toilet which we did not use. He returned it later after our continuous complaint.

I recommend you should get the inspection from the owner if you do not want to be charged extra money.

On the contract he says the rent include the cleaning fee. But, he says this is not a hotel. thus he charges if he spent more hours than usual, 2 hours.
Owner's Response: Our cottage is very clean and we are very particular about that for our renters. As far as the additional charge we had for this renter we feel it was justified as there was a very huge mess left behind. I encourage all our renters to read the rental agreement carefully which includes a section on security deposits and potential cleaning charges. We give the renters the option to secure with a credit card or cash up front which can be returned after inspection. We have only had two renters in the three years we have done this not get their security deposit back. Respect of our property is all we ask and you will have a great time here with out problems.
