The home is filled with turn of the century antiques while still providing all the modern amenities that we need today. There is a wonderful, totally furnished office for those of you who want to "pretend" that you are still working. The rich polished hardwood floors are throughout the main level, with the kitchen finished in tumbled marble and granite. The “top of line" gourmet kitchen in itself is a chef's dream with a panoramic view of the lake that will even entice teen-agers to wash dishes. The lake view can also be experienced from the living room as well as the master bedroom downstairs. Enjoy a glass of wine in the year round hot tub that seats 8 while enjoying the simply breathtaking view of the lake. Don't be fooled by those singing rocks, they're a part of the sophisticated stereo surround sound system, which is featured throughout the house. You can enjoy music from the 100 CD's supplied for your pleasure or you can bring your own and play them on the 5 disc player. The estate is situated on 4 acres surrounded by 140 acres of natural forest beauty, making the property feel very private but only 2 minutes from town, with skiing only 10 minutes away. If you are into hiking or snow-mobiling than this is the place for you. The trails and streams are endless, all right out the front door. After a full day of activities, the over stuffed shabby chic furniture is perfect for snuggling up in front of the wood burning stone fireplace, but don't let this keep you from turning in for a sound night sleep in the plush beds with down comforters.
