Photos and Description of the Houghton Lake vacation house rental 4 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms, sleeps 8-10

Lake front house on Houghton Lake. Four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, sleeps 8-10. It's off the lake the backyard has a sea wall but you can swim in the water it's about 2-2 1/2 feet for a ways out it's about 100 yards of shallow water to swim in! We also have a dock that you can use and a anchor for over night docking! Cabin rents from Sunday - Sunday check in time on Sunday is 4:00 and check out time on the following Sunday is 12 For OFF SEASON we're renting out the cabin for weekends or selected days Off season minimum two nights $350.00 each additional night is $75.00, cleaning fees and deposit still apply for a few days AREA 17 on the lake! The 2nd week in June - August the rent is $1,100.00 a week with $200.00 D.P and $80.00 cleaning fee. The lake was spectacular clear and the home has a nice beach area. The kids spent most of the day playing in the water. Swimming and tubing and relaxing. We enjoy the sand bar on the east bay This is a big attraction on the lake were family just hang out and have fun. We spent alot of time at the public beach this is just 1/4 mile from the cabin[ hasplay ground equipment]. The cabin is immaculate and conveniences close by. We definitely making plan to come back again. This fall to see the colors and hunting and snowmobling this winter.

Spectacular

My family & I spent a week in early July @ Dave & June's place. I can't begin to describe how wonderful this place truly is. The place has every amenity available & the view of the lake from the back porch or second floor deck is spectacular. We truly felt spoiled and will definitely try to make this an annual trip.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

This home is exactly as described. It is well taken care of and the owners have taken the time to make you feel at home.
It is a great place for large families, sunset is beautiful!
