Sunrock Lodge is a unique destination. It is a large, new luxury vacation cabin located on one of North Georgia's highest ridges in a private development. The setting of the Lodge affords complete privacy. Nothing spoils one of the best views anywhere. Our 1.5 acre lot insures that no development will ever encroach upon our magnificent setting. Our amenities insure that you will have something to do year round. In the summer, you have a covered deck that is over fifty feet long. We also have a covered and screened side deck with our six seat spa. In the fall and winter, you can build a fire in fireplace on the side porch beside the spa. If the weather is inclement, you can sit in our relaxation area and still enjoy the view in perfect comfort. We provide the best of everything, high quality bedding and linens, leather furniture and high-end audio-video with a 50' Plasma TV and a Bose Lifestyle stereo system.
Who visits Sunrock Lodge?:
Although we are a four bedroom facility, we are frequently visited by couples looking for a special get away experience. We also host families and small groups that split the cost to yield a per-person cost that is less than the hotel in town. Sunrock Lodge has also been booked by professional offices and companies hosting planning, training or employee motivational functions. The unique privacy afforded by the design of Sunrock Lodge insures that every occupant will have the same views and all of the privacy they desire.
What can I do in Blue Ridge?:
Sunrock Lodge overlooks Mercier Orchard, the site of one of Georgia's largest apple production operations. The apple harvest brings a great number of visitors to north Georgia. In addition to the moderate fall weather, there are a number of cultural activities during the fall and all year long. Many people visit the area to access the Ocoee white water rafting center, the site of the 1996 Olympic white water events. The Ocoee center is only about 20 minutes from Sunrock Lodge. Others visit the area to ride on the Blue Ridge Railway, a scenic train that operates throughout the year from downtown Blue Ridge. More adventurous guests can access the many outdoor activites available in the Cohutta Wilderness and the Aska Adventure area. The west side of Sunrock Mountain has an excellent view of the Choutta mountains.
