September-June 3 day weekend specials @ 900 per. The John B. Gregory House is an impressive home of the Queen Anne Victorian style which is considered to be the grandest of the Victorians. The home is centrally located to some of Southern Maine's best attractions and a terrific reunion spot for families or large groups. It has the feel of a bed and breakfast, with the privacy of your own home. The stunning third floor contains a billiard room with a big screen TV, pool table, bar, and a separate card / game table in a unique round room which helps make sure there's always plenty to do no matter what the weather. Stay busy or relax, its all up to you. The house is close proximity to beaches, water parks, amusement parks, movie theaters, etc. Its just 3 miles from historic Camp Ellis, 3 miles from Old Orchard Beach, 15 miles from Ogunquit, 13 minutes from Portland, 6 miles from Kennebunkport - its central location makes it easy to get to Route 1 and I-95.

Its just 3 miles from historic Camp Ellis or Ferry Beach, 5 miles from Old Orchard Beach or Ocean Park, 15 miles from Ogunquit, 13 minutes from Portland, 6 miles from Kennebunkport. Located just two minutes from the Turnpike makes getting up and down the coast a breeze. If you need public transpotation we are less than a mile from the Amtrak Station and have buses and trolleys going to the beaches and shopping areas several times a day. The Saco bay area boasts the best beaches in Southern Maine with seven miles of gradual sandy beach and you can always find a spot that is quiet or a spot that is bustling, it's all up to you. We are all set up to have you get your groceries drop your bags and start having fun!

  • Our bathrooms have antique fixtures including a marble sink, nickle plated plumbing, and a water closet, most of which are original to the home. We also have a huge claw foot tub perfect for a good long soak or a shower with a rainmaker shower head. We provide all the towels, however, please bring your own beach towels.

  • There are 2 bedrooms on the 3rd floor, and 4 on the second floor (3 of these have air conditioning units that we install during the hottest months). Yes you could rent closer to the beach but think about this. Many of the beach rentals have ads like this, sleeps ten, two bedroom, 900SF. Those cottages probably have bunk beds and pull out couches. The John B. Gregory House is 4400SF of luxury with six real bedrooms and six real comfortable beds. We supply all of the linens and freshly made beds.

Notes: We have two separate parlors, a large dinning room with an antique dining table and leaves should you need extra seating. The kitchen is modern with ice maker water dispensing fridge, convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, huge sink and stone counter tops. You are welcome to use the washer dryer which is just off the kitchen on the first floor. We have a colossal stainless grill located on the screened in porch. The home has lots of antiques and curious cozy corners so the is house is impressive, massive and yet always a place to get away get comfortable with a book which we have plenty of. Planning a family gathering? A place for family and friends attending a wedding? A reunion of friends or family? This home has plenty of room for all and if splitting the cost amongst six bedrooms quite economical compared to a hotel stay.
