Beautifully decorated but,....

I'm not usually "that girl" that complains about stuff,.. but this cottage was, in my opinion, misrepresented. While the bay is beautiful from the deck, it's important to note that not so beautiful, is the view of 17 other cottages, with one of them literally 3 ft from your deck. The water is not swimmable. Rocks and broken shells,..Most importantly, the sleeping arrangments are horrific. Old, thin, pull out couches and loveseats, which when they are entended make the cottage completely impassable (can't get to the bathroom without crawling over people in bed. or get out to the deck) No way this cottage can accomodate 2 adults and 4 children. There is a bed with a "real" mattress (the bonus bedroom) in the dank, musty basement, but you must duck your head to get into it,... stayed one night,... moved to Red Jacket in Yarmouth the next morning in order to save our vacation! Buyer Beware.
Owner's Response: We are disappointed "that girl" had to take out her "other" issues on our rental. We have been advertising on HomeAway since 2007. In fact, we have a guest book full of great, extremely pleased reviews, and have had many repeat guests. No misrepresentation was given. A personal phone conversation handled all the questions that were already answered on the site if you read through the specifics. Is the reality that there are other cottages there to view so bad? As advertised, we are in a village of cottages and ours is 50 steps from the beach. Rocks and shells are a natural element of any saltwater beach. And if the couches and loveseats were old, why would you state that it was "Beautifully decorated but....". But, this is a cottage that accomodates 6 and "that girl" had plans for others to join mid-week.
