Apartment, 3 Bedrooms + Loft, 1.5+ Baths, (Sleeps 6)

Relais Borgo Pinti comprises two mansard roofed flats in the heart of Florence. List N° 165586 and list N° 92298

Pinti 2 is 110 sq. meters and has accommodations for 6 people.

Borgo Pinti is a quiet street partially closed to the traffic.

The Relais is located where Borgo Pinti crosses Via dei Pilastri and Via Alfani. It is a few minutes walk from all important sights and monuments, and some blocks from S.Ambrogio market and from the famous restaurants La Giostra and Il Cibreo.

The apartments are on the second and top floor. There is no elevator, but the climb is worth it. The steps are low and manageable.

Pinti 2 has two double bedrooms, 1 open loft with two twins, 1 wonderful bathroom with shower, another bathroom only with W.C. and sink. The kitchen is a separate room, spacious, fully equipped and has a dining table for six.

The two bedrooms have a queen size bed.

In the living room two comfortable white sofas and a fireplace.

There is a small terrace quiet and very sunny to enjoy your breakfast

About The Owner

My name is Claudia Morace. I am 64 years old, I have a daughter, she is a pianist and two sons lawyers as my husband was.I have also six grandchildren.

I love taking personally care of my house and of my apartments in Florence.

I love flowers, nature, people and life

The Owner purchased this apartment in 2002
Why The Owner chose Historic Center

I had to sell a wonderful family property of 1880 in Austria.

I decided to make an investment in Florence and in Chianti area.

Pinti 2 and a Wonderful Florence Experience

We stayed a week in Florence as a major part of our 2 week vacation in Europe. My wife and I and another married couple (friends for 25 years) rented Pinti 2 for the week and it was a spacious, clean and totally functional apartment that became like home to us. We were greeted graciously by Claudia when we arrived and she provided us with a detailed tour of the apartment and showed us how everything worked. She also provided us with an initial supply of groceries (including a bottle of wine) and a lunch consisting of several delicious home made sandwiches (that we devoured as soon as she departed). We discussed our plans for the week, and Claudia suggested that we obtain a membership with Friends of the Ufizzi to gain priority access to a number of the museums and palaces that we wanted to visit, which we did, and this eliminated hours of standing in long lines that we otherwise would have faced. She also had restaurant suggestions, where we found the food and service to be excellent. We really appreciated her advice.

Our stay in Florence was great. There was almost too much great food, great wine and sightseeing to experience within 1 week, but we tried to do it anyway. Pinti 2 was a great place for our group to socialize and rest and we started each day with renewed energy. Everything that we saw and did in Florence was accessible by foot.

Claudia was warm, friendly and courteous before, during and after our stay. She made the entire experience comfortable and non-stressful. We highly recommend Pinti 2 as a great rental experience.

Amazing week

Amazing week

We spent a fabulous week in Florence celebrating our daughter's fairy-tale Italian wedding in a hill-top castle overlooking the city. We stayed a Claudia's Borgo Pinti 2 apartment for the week and I don't think we could have made a better choice. It just a short walk from all the major tourist attractions, but nicely located on a more residential street away from the noise and crowds. The apartment itself was completely furnished and was very roomy and comfortable for our party of 6. While we didn't do a whole lot of our own cooking, (we preferred the delicious restaurants of Florence), the kitchen was fully equipped and we did enjoy our morning breakfasts around the table. Claudia welcomed us with a beautiful bowl of strawberries and grapes.

One of the most important things to my wife, was that the apartment was very clean. Everything was in perfect working order. By the end of the week it was starting to feel like home and we all wanted to stay longer.

Claudia is a terrific host. She was a pleasure to deal with in the weeks leading up to our stay. She answered all our questions and provided lots of information and advice through e-mails. She even went out of her way to purchase train tickets for our day trip to Venice before we arrived.

Thank you for everything Claudia! We hope we will have a chance to see you again someday.

Best place to stay in Florence

What a pleasure dealing with the lovely Claudia both before and during our wonderful trip to Italy. First, Claudia answered every question and concern promptly. She was so accommodating in letting us check in a little early as our train got in earlier than the check in time. As promised, she arranged Alessandro to meet us at the apartment and he carried all of our bags up the stairs to the apartment-an unexpected treat. Despite the apartment being on the fourth floor, it was never an issue and easy. The apartment itself was so quaint and perfect. We were even welcomed with fresh strawberries and a lovely note! My husband and I were traveling with my 19 year old daughter and her friend. With 3 women, when we asked about the blowdryer situation, Claudia offered to buy an additional new one for us to use. It was another added bonus. The rooms were comfortable and we had more space than we actually needed. We even used the washing machine which worked well--small by American standards but normal for Europeans. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pans and there was even bottled water for us in the fridge. We enjoyed breakfast there every morning. Aside from the actual apartment being spacious and comfortable, the location was perfect. We were in walking distance of everything and the restaurants right in the neighborhood were absolutely delicious--the best meals we had in Italy. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more and plan on staying here again when we return!

An Unforgettable Treasure

Everything about this beautiful apartment was perfect for our family of 4 (parents and 20 y.o and 18 y.o.). The communication and arranging before our stay were clear and very encouraging. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by our lovely, gracious host, Claudia, who had made great preparations for our stay. The apartment was stocked with supplies, goodies, guidebooks and recommendations to make our stay easier. The apartment itself is large and comfortable. The decorating is simple, tasteful and done with a feel of authentic Italy. We were thrilled to find the American coffee maker in the full kitchen. The apartment is ideally located within walking distance of most everything, including the train station for daily excursions to other cities/places.
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment. We look forward to our return here. Thank you to our wonderful host, Claudia, for helping to make it such a great stay!

My friend and I had the extraordinary opportunity to spend two months in Florence. Our stay was a wonderful experience and Borgo Pinti 2 enhanced our enjoyment and became a home away from home. Claudia warmly greeted us when we arrived and had supplied us with a lot of necessary staples - such as bread, milk, coffee, eggs, olive oil and delicious fruits and vegetyables from her own garden. The apartment was comfortable, homey, and very well equipped. Being there for 2 months, I did a lot of cooking and I found everything I needed in the kitchen area. If Iever had a question or concern Cl;audia quickly responded to my e-mail and readily remedied the situation The location of the apartment is perfect for seeing all the sites and only a short walk to the train and bus station to travel to other cities or to a small Tuscan town. We also had the opportunity ti visit Claudia and Arnaldo at their beautiful farmhouse in Panzano. They were very gracious hosts and we felt right at home. I could go on and on, but I will just conclude by saying that your stay here will not be a disappointment. Thank you Claudia and Arnaldo for your kindness and friendship. We hope to return soon!!!
