Thank you so much for letting us use your wonderful house. We had a fabulous time -- lots of hiking and traveling -- Prescott, Jerome, and Grand Canyon. The kids enjoyed it so much and we all loved seeing the sun every day. We home to return!
This was my first trip to Red Castle Ranch on the recommendation of my wife who went previously with her two girlfriends. This trip was with my wife and two retired greyhounds. I was very impressed with the house, location and decor. We own a timeshare and have stayed at two other places in Sedona and now we both very much prefer this house. House is spotless, has comfortable beds, everything you need for cooking and even provides a Red Rock Pass. Location is superb for two reasons. First is that you are surrounded by Red Rocks as soon as you walk out the door. Great walks with our dogs in the neighborhood--everyone waved to us. Second reason is all the construction on the road to uptown Sedona. This house is located in a great area away from the construction and now has lots of great restaurants close by. Ate at Cucina Rustica and had a great meal (make reservations for weekends), Desert Flour good for pastries. coffee (try the bread pudding) and delicious lunches, good delivery pizza from Famous Pizza and unexpectedly great Thai food at Tara Thai. All are about 5 minutes away. Many great hikes are also close by and once again, you can bypass all the traffic. Sedona is a special place and the ambiance, decor and location of this house just made our trip even more special. Owner is wonderful with customer service and have already recommend house to friends. Can't wait to go back!
Staying here instead of a hotel was well worth it. It's a beautiful home with great sunrises and sunsets. It's within walking distance to Bell Rock (great for climbing and gorgeous views). Staying here made the entire trip enjoyable for the 4 of us. Great kitchen space, plenty of room for entertaining and a private backyard. The house is decorated beautifully and very clean. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit AZ.
We were very happy with the accommodations. At times we would rent a place and find that were weren't comfortable with sitting on the furniture, sleeping on the beds or cooking in the kitchen so we were pleased to stay at a house where all these concerns were nonexistent. We appreciate that dogs are allowed too and both give the place 4 paws up...love the quails. We would be very likely to rent this house again and actually found that the Village of Oak Creek is very relaxing and quiet as compared to the hustle happening in Sedona proper.
Owner Bridget made us feel confident we'd made the right decision from the moment we booked, supplying copious pdf's with info on the house, on Sedona and on Arizona tourism in general. So the house had a lot to live up to before we arrived. It was perfect. The location was great, with easy access to walks, services and restaurants in Oak Creek and only a few miles from Sedona. The house was very clean, modern and well-appointed with great heating, a great kitchen (which we didn't actually cook in) and well set up TV and sound system. Access was level, very important for our 79-year-old mother, and if it didnt rain for all but 1 1/2 of the four days we would have enjoyed a great backyard BBQ. And all this at a very good rate. We would have no hesitation in recommending Red Castle Ranch to anyone considering a few days in Sedona/Oak Creek. Well done Bridget and home away!
We had a wonderful time exploring the area! Your hiking guides and recommendations were very helpful and we especially loved "cow pies" and Bell Rock was a great favorite. We enjoyed the fire pit and bar-b-q and the garden lent itself to an Easter Egg hunt! Thank you! xxxx
Your place was perfect for our first annual get-away. We are 3 close childhood friendfs from California who traveled across country in 1976 and now we are doing it again, one week at a time! The hiking was fantastic! What a peaceful place and your house was so much more comfortable than a hotel. THANK YOU!
