Sawtooth Mts. - Best View

For 2 weeks we hiked a different trail every day, then came home to our cabin and relaxed. We sometimes cooked a meal there and sometimes ate at Redfish Lodge (great!) or Smiley's directly below the cabin (also terrific). Everything was wonderful and very relaxing. One day we went to Ketchum (40 minutes away) and took in the arts festival, got groceries in a very nice market, and got some growlers at the Sawtooth Brewery (good beer; nice people.) It is a beautiful town.
Best of all were the beautiful sunsets, each one a little different each evening, and an occasional dramatic thunderstorm. Starry starry nights were amazing, and wildlife (antelope, cranes etc.) were plentiful. We have had many wonderful vacations, but none were as peaceful or relaxing as this.
