Sawtooth Log Cabin Retreat

We stayed at this lovely cabin with friends and family in early September. Being Idaho natives, we knew it was a beautiful time to be in the Stanley area, but the views from the cabin still left us breathless. The cabin itself has large common living areas suitable for entertaining (we hosted a brunch while we were there) and comfortable furnishings. The owner was very responsive to my emails and helpful in planning our stay. The property is well maintained and has everything one would need for a longer stay.
I would recommend this property if you're planning a family reunion, a family vacation or a get-away with friends. Be sure to stay awake long enough to check out the stars off the deck. There's no "light pollution" here!

My wife and I and our three grown daughters spent five great days here. We had to take three planes to get here ,but it was well worth it.The cabin truley has wonderful mountain views from every window. The cabin is well stocked and is kept in great shape. John the owner was very helpful and accommodating. This is a good base camp for playing in the Sawtooth's or just hanging out. The Salmon river has white water rafting and excellent fly fishing. Redfish is not to be missed, it is a lake like no other, situated in the heart of the Sawtooth mountains.There is hiking and mountain biking everywhere. Once you go through the Galena pass you enter another world and leave your real world behind. So stock up on food and supplies because ....the best part of all is you are 30 miles from the nearest store. If you are into outdoor recreation this is the place to stay ...and have some fun.

Sawtooth cabin was perfect for our group of six female hikers. The view from the deck is awesome, the kitchen is well equipped and the four bedrooms were great. The cabin is centrally located for reaching trailheads and lakes very easily. This house is a winner! Warm and welcoming and very clean. You won't go wrong with a vacation at Sawtooth Cabin.
