Great location close to the outdoor swimming pool.

6 bedrooms! Sleeps 16 people! Fireplace & firewood! 6 foot long air hockey table! WIFI! Spacious house! Big back deck! Huge dining table for family meals!

This spacious 3060 sq. ft. home is near the the top of the mountain and is a short walk to the pool, family fun park, mini golf, go karts & summer tubing. Walk to skiing, snowboarding & snow tubing!

Enjoy the views! Enjoy quiet mornings, afternoons and evenings on the spacious deck and fenced yard. Cook on the big gas grill! Relax in the big corner jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom!

WIFI! Family entertainment room with a 6 foot long air hockey table, board games and more!

Ground Level: Enter into the great room with fireplace, cable TV, DVD player and stereo with CD player; the large kitchen has a breakfast bar and is off the dining area. The furnished deck off dining area is the width of the house.

The master bedroom is to the left of the living room and has a king bed, cable TV with a NETFLIX account, and a full bathroom with a big corner jacuzzi tub and a separate shower; another bedroom is to the right of the living room has a queen bed. There is a bathroom between the kitchen and this bedroom. Another bedroom with a queen bed, queen sleep sofa, and wall-mounted flat-screen cable TV, is off the kitchen.

Lower level bedroom #3 has 2 doubles, a TV and a full bath; bedroom #4 has a queen bed; bedroom #5 has 2 sets of twin bunk beds (there is a french door between these 2 bedrooms). Family room with a large 55' TV DVD player, stereo with CD player. Next to the family room is the gaming area with a game table w/ family board games, poker table top and an AIR HOCKEY table. A full bathroom is next to the family room.

Smoking Is Allowed Outdoors Only.

PLEASE NOTE: construction on the bedroom off the kitchen is complete. We await the arrival of the furniture. This is scheduled for delivery by the first week of November 2012. Lower level bedroom #4 has 2 doubles and a full bath; bedroom #5 has a queen bed; bedroom #6 has 2 sets of twin bunk beds; bedroom #3 and bedroom #4 share a full bath. My husband and I were there in the house with my friends not long ago. We picked a bedroom, witch was a downstairs bedroom with a queen bed. Imagine our surprise when we saw that it had glass doors leading to another bedroom, and there was NO LOCK, no privacy at all.
Owner's Response: If the guest would have called us when they arrived we would have been happy to try to remedy the situation right away, we have 24 hour maintenance available. We now have a lock in place & a curtain ensuring privacy. This is the first complaint we have received about the door since we have been renting this home for 4 years now. It is one of the most popular homes in Massanutten and we will ensure to do everything to continue that.

Perfect get together

Had a wonderful weekend stay here with some friends and was very pleased with everything. We had some minor issues when we arrived but one call to maintenance and they were there quickly to fix everything and the rest of the stay was a great time. This is a great home for a big group as their is plenty of room. We had more than enough room and the extra room with the flat screen TV was great to hook our Wii to for the kids. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect family vacation house

We stayed with our family of 8 and had lots of room. The house is nicely furnished, clean, big and close to lots of recreational facilities. We did most of our exploring in Massanutten (pool, horse trail riding, ect)but we did venture out to Harrisonburg and Charlottesville. We toured Monticello and a winery. We had a very nice vacation in this house.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Everyone was entertained.

We stayed at this home in April. It was a wonderful experience for our family. Each of our sons brought a friend and so we needed space for everyone to be comfortable. We had all the space we could have imagined. In addition, the basement is set up as a great area for the kids to hang out and play games.
All of the appliances worked well and the view from the kitchen table - out to the balcony and the trees was spectacular. There is much to do at Acorn Lodge- we had kids of different ages and adults that like to have fun too- everyone was entertained- hiking, putt putt golf outside in April, the indoor water park, go carting, etc. The area is beautiful physically and quite full of activities for families. The service of all of the people at Massanutten vacations was first rate which also made our experience smooth and drama free.
We thank you for such a great experience for our family!
And most importantly, Katrina, you are delightful and wonderful to work with.

Perfect for teen birthday

What a wonderful 16th birthday my daughter and her friends had staying in Acorn lodge, this was the perfect home for our large group of moms and daughters. The home was light and airy, we were able to spread out on both floors of the home and enjoyed all the games. The furnishings were lovely and quite comfortable. We were able to take long hikes and loved spending the day at the waterpark. Windy in the office was very helpful with the countless questions I had before I booked the home and Kathy gave us great suggestions where to go and have the birthday dinner. We look forward to returning to Massanutten in the near future and renting from you again.
