Wonderful Reunion

Our family was the first to rent the property. It sort of turned into a family reunion. My grandparents were prominent members of the community in Eden years ago. George wright was the postmaster, owner of the General Store, and at one time a Vermont State Senator. My Uncle and Mother grew up over the Eden General Store. My grandfather actually owned much of the realestate around lake eden and built several of the camps that still exist today. my mother and uncle moved away. Then in the late 70's early 80's my grandparents retired to florida. Eventually we all moved to Florida. Over time my Uncle moved back to Eden, and many of us have trickled back up North to various locations. As my grandparents health faded the last few years, their deep seeded desire to move back to Vermont was more and more apparent. When they both passed away very close to one anothe my mother and uncle decided to bring George and Pat Wright home. We rented the property on Lake Eden and the setting and events could not have been better. We had several ceremnies, on the lake, and at the cemetery on cemetery road by the General Store. Afterwards we were able to relax on the lake with the kayaks, bonfires by the lake with smores, and just plain relaxing and meeting the tremendous amount of family and friends that most of us returning never knew. The cabin was perfect, and we could not have been happier with the ameneties. Everyone was comfortable, and happy both inside and outside. Thank you!
