Walking and hiking:
there are many walks in and around Beaulieu. The area around Beaulieu is immediately quite mountainous and there are many trails which can be explored or hikes to be done with guides, both in summer and winter season
Watersports:
There are many brokers locally who offer boats (sailing or motor) for rent, daily and long term, with or without skipper. Several places offer watersports such a water-skiing, wake boarding, pedalos, kite surfing or fun trips for children on plastic floaters.
The beaches of La Petite Afrique and La Baie des Bourmis both offer sun-bed rentals, full restaurant service, shower, changing rooms, waterski, wakeboading, windsurfing etc. The Beaches of Eze, Villefranche and St. Jean Cap Ferrat are only minutes drive away.
Museums:
There are two local museums (Villa Ephrussi Rothschild and Vila Kerylos) and the area offers a large amount and variety of other cultural institutions, based on the rich cultural heritage of the area (Nice: Museum of Modern Art, Matisse Museum, Chagall Museum; St. Paul de Vence: Fondation Maeght; Antibes: Picasso Museum; various Chapels with murals from Cocteau; many seasonal art exhibitions and festivals. etc etc
Ski:
There are a number of good ski resort located close enough for a day trip. For example Isola 2000 and Auron in France or Limone in Italy. All can be reached by car - approx 1 1/2 hours drive or by public transport. There is also a large variety of accommodation in these resorts and it can be booked over the internet.
Golf:
The golf clubs of Monaco, Opio, Mougins and Cannes all welcome visitors and are only a short drive away.
