The cottage is located on a private cul-de-sac with an additional lot buffering it from the property behind.

Air conditioning is not necessary as the lake breezes and ceiling fans are prevalent. Four bedrooms and four bathrooms, each tastefully decorated, featuring high quality bedding and luxurious linens.
Master bedroom is located upstairs w/king size bed; master bath features a large walk-in terrazzo tiled and jetted shower as well as a heated floor; second and third bedrooms are downstairs each featuring a queen size bed and private bathrooms with showers; fourth bedroom is located upstairs and offers a bathroom with a tub and shower. The bedroom sleeps eight with one queen bed, 2 double bed/futons and 2 twin bunks.
Large 42 inch Flat Screen LCD TV offering cable with premium channels, wireless internet, eight person hot tub off the deck, a dock extending 160 feet out into the lake, water volleyball, Caribbean island lounger and a water trampoline.
The MANGY MOOSE CLUBHOUSE is a finished area above a detached 5 stall garage, and is GREAT for kids or adults of all ages! It contains a bunk bed with lower bed folding into a double, a couch, pool table, ping-pong table, air hockey, shuffle board, darts, cable TV, PS2 video games, and stereo. An abundance of blow-up air mattresses are available for additional sleeping. My son has had up to 10 friends stay up there! It is heated, furnished and available for a fee of $250 summer or $150 winter.

Lake Mitchell is 2580 acres in size and is connected to Lake Cadillac by a navigable canal, combining over 3700 acres of all-sports water fun! Many casual restaurants and eateries shore up to both lakes, offering docking for dining and/or drinks. Ice cream shops, party stores, and gas docks are also directly available by watercraft.
Like to hike or mountain bike? You will be surrounded by the Manistee National Forest boasting six-hundred thousand acres of pristine wooded wonderland! The Big Manistee, Little Manistee and Pine River (the fastest moving river in Michigan) are only minutes away. Fish the Tippy Dam, providing world class salmon, steelhead and trout opportunities. On a larger scale, the dunes of Lake Michigan located in Manistee are just a short drive away.
Winter activities abound! Cadillac is also the host site of the North American Snowmobile Festival. Snowmobile trails are accessible right from the front yard. Access these trails from Lake Mitchell, and you can sled directly onto the Lake from the front of the cottage. Downhill skiing at Caberfae is 15 minutes away, and Crystal is 35 minutes from the cottage. Cross Country ski in the surrounding woods or directly onto the lake. Excellent ice fishing can be had right in front of the cottage. Or, simply sit back and enjoy the quiet over a cup of hot chocolate and a crackling fire from your cozy abode!
