Description of the Elk Rapids vacation house rental
A bluff top setting overlooking Grand Traverse Bay and the Old Mission Peninsula and Leelanau Peninsula in the distance! Beautiful clear water views, sandy beach with deck on the waterside! This vacation house is located halfway between Charlevoix and Traverse City and just 8 miles north of the quaint port side village of Elk Rapids. There is so much to do from here, including golf just a few miles away at A-Ga-Ming Golf Course, gourmet dining at Tapawingo or the Rowe Inn in Ellsworth, and shopping and restaurants in nearby Elk Rapids, with its small town charm!
Relax on the deck side and watch the sunsets or moon rise! Towering pine trees surround the private lakeside setting. The house has all amenities, including fireplace, updated kitchen with Jenn-air range and convection ovens, is fully equipped to accommodate large dining groups. Washer/dryer, stereo system, cable television, DVD player, high speed Internet!

Elk Rapids is a port town nestled between Lake Michigan and Elk Lake, with world famous beautiful Torch Lake just to the north! It will take you back in time, with it's small town theater and quaint shops. Charlevoix is a world-class port town to the north, where mega ton yachts moor for the summer months! It is truly picturesque, with its small town atmosphere, shops and eateries, too!

- Each bedroom is fully appointed, with nice mattresses and bedding! Clean and nicely, brightly decorated! The master bedroom can be upstairs or down! Upstairs there is a king-sized bedroom lakeside with beautiful views over the water! Across the large hallway/open area, there is a large room with two twin beds, with a nice new bathroom in between serving both rooms. On the main floor, there is a nice sized queen bedroom with lots of closet space and next door to the main floor bathroom, with tub/shower. Next to it is another bedroom, which is actually appointed as a main floor office area, with laptop high speed hookup, fax machine, and printer! Each bedroom has cable television! Downstairs, on the main floor is a separate family room with slider french doors/walkout. It has a new Rowe sleeper sofa, which is queen-sized. It provides a whole separate sleeping/guest area, as there is a bathroom/shower next to it. This room also has cable television!
