Summer in P-Town and Capt.Jacks Wharf:
There is no other place like this around where you can watch the sea from your decks and listen to the water under your cottage. Even in a storm it is cozy and romantic to watch the sea from your windows. You can also walk right into the sea from the various decks that are at your disposal or walk on the beaches that are all around you. A magical world of old world charm where writers like Eugene ONeal and Tennessee Williams found lots of inspiration.
Provincetown still is an artists colony and it attracts a very wonderful and diverse clientèle. Capt. Jacks Wharf is an intimate and quiet place. Its a place where you can socialize or stay to yourself. The cottages are individually owned. Mine are on the very private upper level. You can use any chair or table on the wharf. All the walking decks are for use by any occupant. The Lounge chairs are for everyone to use. There is a nice serene peace and quiet at night. It is romantic and a nice place to let go and relax. My unit is Neptune.
Restaurants:
Restaurants:
Provincetown has many restaurants. There are 4 star restaurants and hot dog stands. There are restaurants in every price range as well as take out places. There is even prepared food at the Grand Union Super Market along with a salad bar. All a very close walk from the cottage's Red Inn down the street is a classic P-Town experience. There are also vegan restaurants in town too. There is no shortage of places to eat. Try Clem and Urses for fried seafood. You can also pick up groceries and cook and eat from one of our decks. The boutique grocery store relish is just a 2 min walk and they prepare delicious meals and sandwiches.
