NBC .21 miles, Jay Leno Show .22 miles, Time-Warner Music Division .41, Warner Bros home of the CW .43 miles, ABC .90 miles, Disney Studios 1.02 miles, and CBS @ 2.53 miles, plus countless other production venues. The theme is tranquil, romantic, sensual, and inviting. Ideal for the couple seeking a serene romantic get-away. The family here to enjoy the numerous Theme Parks, or the group of friends looking for more than the generic hotel stay. Ideal location for the person seeking a career in any of the many entertainment venues found within the Media District of Burbank.

Booking and Cancellation Policy: : This unit being a townhouse -hotel policy does not apply,

Ground floor unit # 1--- 50% of the total amount needs to be submitted at the time of booking to hold your reservation, 30 days prior to your occupancy the balance is due along with cleaning fees and applicable property damage insurance . If you need to cancel anytime up to 30 days prior to occupancy the 50% is refundable. 100% is non refundable within 30 days of occupancy of daily rates-- cleaning fee and property damage insurance will be refunded. I welcome spur-of-the moment reservations if the unit is available.

I'm an empty nester. I am semi-retired researcher from the field of human responses to life events. I have come to know and embrace the 'uniqueness' of individuals, the wealth of understanding that can be obtained, if we just take the moment (we don't think we can spare) to say 'Hello' as we move through our day.

The property had become to quiet on the inside. I missed hearing the sounds that radiant up when people are about enjoying themselves. The delightful aromas from food being prepared, had become quite boring cooking for just one. This was such a grand idea, still trying to recall how the idea sprung about!

Initially purchased as it answered a current need at that time, and one in the future I hoped would not ever be necessary. I worked from a home. Couriers dropped off work and meetings with project mgrs, new clients were common place. This meant my home was constantly in open few. This property afforded me a living space and an office that was separated. Also a place for my Mom if I ever needed to care for her that allowed both of us a space of our own.

What makes this townhome unique

The close proximity to media industry businesses. Not buried deep into Los Angeles but close enough that drives aren't so taxing when going to other areas. The versatility of the property was a huge plus. Foremost the weather...the sun shines more than it doesn't!

  • Rates are reflective of intended use of property for 6 guests not the number in your party. No policing of premises for guests not paid for. Property is furnished to house 6 guests. It was never intended for the generic double occupancy of a hotel stay. The romantic getaway, or a group too large for a 1 room suite @ the Holiday Inn. Inquiries rec'd for 1-3 people, I assume location, free parking, 2X living space verses a hotel, Baby Grand, the full home set-up is why you are inquiring. Cleaning fee of $25 a day nonrefundable has flexibility for longer stay. A week stay is $1050. Longer stays require prearranged access to unit for a basic clean-up, maintaining unit for your stay & future vacation arrivals.

    Booking & Cancellation Policy

    50% of total amt is required to book & hold your reservation. The remaining balance is due 1 month prior to your arrival. Cancellation 31 days to arrival deposit refunded, 30 days or less only cleaning fee & PD Insurance is refunded
  • Check-in is 4:00PM on your arrival day and check out is 10AM on your departing date. There is flex in the check-in and out times if pre-arranged depending on vacancy surrounding your planned time. A late check-out for Noon would require no additional fee. Noon- 6PM is a set block for late-check-out for a $60 fee and should be arranged 24 hrs in advance if possible. Every effort will be made to accommodate you.

    NO SECURITY DEPOSIT REQUIRED!!!!! Property damage insurance covers any accidental damage to the premises. There is no deductible and covers glass breakage, linens, etc. 3 levels of coverage ranging from $1500 - $5000 damage. The rate is $49, $59, or $69. This is a huge development for traveler and owner making the stay more affordable.

    Reservations are prepaid. Payments by credit card or a personal check, processed through PayPal. You will receive a PayPal invoice with billing amounts, property location, additional info in the NOTE box

Notes: Unit is non-smoking on the inside, however smoking in the front courtyard is acceptable using provided ashtrays to discard cigarette butts. Daily Maid Service, a Chaueffer, child care services will have varying need from situation to situation. I would attempt to arrange for these services based on your individual need. The cost may vary depending on many factors ie. time of year, lead time before services needed, personal preferences, etc. one on one communications with you will be necessary. Los Angeles is home to many wonderful chefs. I would attempt to find someone who would cater to your taste and required nutritional preferences. If I am unable to find a qualified individual or service I would let you know ASAP.

My daughter and I stayed in Burbank for almost 2 weeks this September. Not only was the owner PJ so amazingly helpful, but the property was more than we expected!
Its definitely a home away from home. Everything you need is there as well as being extremely clean and well kept. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and you are only a stones throw from NBC and Warner Bros studios among others. The only thing I would do differently next time is to rent a car, although city transit is only within a half block, if you plan to sightsee around to Disney etc, a car would come in handy.
We will definitely return again and again to this holiday home!

Family Friendly

This is a great place to stay for families. Ours was a family of 4 adults and an infant. The rental is the main floor of a townhouse in a quiet neighborhood. The Burbank airport was 5 minutes away, with entertainment studios, Universal Studio and highway access nearby. We enjoyed and appreciated having a washer/dryer, a full kitchen, access to a grill, internet and TV.

Thanks to PJ, she made us feel welcome and accommodated our needs.

Home away from home!

My daughter and I stay here every time we are in LA and it is available! I think this is our 5th stay! The house is in a quiet neighborhood and has everything you can possibly need for your stay. It is clean, well maintained, and nicely stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, extra blankets etc.). And if you have any downtime during your stay, the patio is the perfect place to relax!
PJ is an amazing person and landlord. She goes out of her way to make us comfortable and is the reason we continue to stay here! I'm sure you will enjoy your stay here as much as we do.

Excellent experience

We had a wonderful time at PJ's. The place was clean and exactly as advertised. PJ was very friendly and helpful even after we left since we forgot some things. We were there during the holidays and the house had Christmas decorations. PJ takes the time to gather information and cupons for the area. There was an issue with noise which wasn't that bad but PJ was very concerned and apologized with a bottle of champange! That was completly unnecesary but highly appreciated! We sure will check if this property is available on our next trip to the area!
Owner's Response: This was a wonderful family traveling into the USA from an international location. Here checking out the film academy at Universal Studios for their daughter who had just graduated from high school. I'm so thrilled that on a return trip they will be checking my calendar to book again! It was wonderful to meet them. A set of great parents with their two children ( now mature well-mannered young adults) well accomplished in many areas. What a delight! .....and would love to have you all again.

Awesome Place to Stay

Our stay at PJ's rental was amazing! She is a wonderful person and awesome to deal with. The house was exceptionally clean and stocked with everything you could ever imagine (toilet paper, dish soap, condiments/spices, shampoo, etc.).
The location was great and close to all the tourist attractions in the L.A. area. The
neighborhood was nice, safe and quiet. PJ treated us like family and was there for anything we may have needed. She was easy to get a hold of and was so nice. You can bet we'll be back again! You can't go wrong with this rental, you won't be disappointed!
