8/11-13/07 - We arrived Saturday at around 10:30 am we looked out of the french doors and we were greeted by a big, brown Moose loping across the property...Ronda said it was a sign of 'feminine strength' - RF, N.H. - CC, Greenwich, CT.

July '07 - Mom and I were upstairs painting when I heard her yelling ' Moose, Moose, Moose ' there was a large male moose with a very large rack strolling across the front lawn - BUT we had no camera , DARN ! !!! Sandy and Ginny
February '06 - We hiked to the top of the ridge through the snow on a sunny day - we saw some large bear tracks along with deer and moose tracks well preserved in the fresh snow. Took pictures. Kevin & Bill
Aug '06 - Took a break from working, grabbed a beer and took a walk into the woods along the path heading towards the ridge - found myself face to face with a black bear some 20 feet ahead of me in the path !!! We both turned and ran as fast as we could in opposite directions !!! Kevin
