August 2009

We had a really great time at the Wildcat. We were there the last week in July luck enough to have really nice weather. The cabin is super nice and Scott is the type of guy who is available to answer all questions and make sure that his guest have a great time. You can tell that is genuine. Thanks Scott. In attendance were 4 adults an 4 kids (4, 6, 13, 14). The cabin was plenty big enough. We did not even use the second bedroom on the 2nd floor since 1 adult and 2 kids slept in the big "bunkroom" (not shown in the pictures) which is next to the gameroom on the lower level. The two lakes were beautifil and clean and only a short drive away and great for the kids and adults to swim. We spent three nights around the firepit toasting marshmellows. Days were spent swimming in the lakes, hiking, canoeing, sightseeing. The two teenagers had plently to do. The cabin is really nicely appointed, great furniture and decorations. Most nights we ate on the deck overlooking the moutains. Cool in the evenings nice and sunny during the day. I would highly recommend this cabin to families with or without kids it was really a great time. Los of exciting stuff to do in a great "homebase".
Owner's Response: Kevin - We are so glad to hear that your family had a great time on their vacation to the White Mountains and to Wildcat Cabin in particular! I think that you guys were on the front end of what turned out to be a spectacular stretch of great weather running from the end of July right through all of August. Thank you for your review, and please know that we would certainly love to have your family come back again anytime.
