Enjoy luxury in a woodsy setting. As part of the Mountain Lakes Recreational Community, renters will have access to private beaches on two lakes, an in-ground pool, playground, basketball court, tennis courts, and baseball field. The house features tastefully decorated bedrooms, a living room comfortably outfitted with a leather living room set and an LCD TV with cable. The family room has a 42 in. plasma TV with surround sound, a large microfiber sectional, and ping pong and air hockey tables. The house also features unlimited long distance calling, unlimited wireless access, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and a large deck with patio furniture and a gas grill. The house is large enough for two families to share. We are currently renting to families only--no adult groups. Non-smokers only. Any smoking will result in renters forfeiting their security deposit.

The perfect fall getaway--enjoy breath-taking foliage from the comfortable back deck. The surrounding region includes numerous hiking trails, lakes, rivers, ponds, waterfalls, streams, and mountains. Close to Kancamagus Highway, golfing, and apple picking. Nearby tourist attractions include Lost River Gorge, Clarke's Trading Post, Loon and Cannon Mountains and Whale's Tale Water Park. Snowmobile trails abound. The Mountain Lakes Recreational Center has lifeguards on duty at the beach and planned activities for both children and adults. Covered bridges, restaurants, and shopping are all nearby.

Terrific House!

We've rented this house twice now with friends and have enjoyed each visit tremendously. The house is great - has everything you need for a great time (sleeps our combined families 4 grown-ups, 4 kids perfectly) including a game room! Our kids love the bunkbeds and their parents like the fact that there's space for us away from the kids.

We've rented other properties in the area, but none as nice as this place - couldn't recommend it more.

Absolutely gorgeous house & property

I rented this log home for the weekend to use as a "Girls Weekend" get away for myself and 9 of my friends. Coming from Rochester, NH the drive was absolutely beautiful in October. When we arrived at the house it was everything the pictures showed and more. The big open living room, diningroom and kitchen area was plenty of room for all of us to move around and relax. The multiple beds were very comfortable with wonderful comforters on all of them. If was nice not to have to bring all of our sheets and towels with us because everything we needed was there. There was a washer and dryer there, so we just threw everything we used in before we left. The outside property was nice with beautiful views. There was also an outdoor fire pit that we took advantage of on a cool Saturday afternoon. We had a blast playing Ping Pong and enoyed the indoor firplace as well. I would recommend this place to everyone I talk to. I couldn't have asked for more, and will be going back again soon I hope.

Girls Weekend 2009

We are actually a group of women just about all over 40, give or take a few. We have been getting away a couple of times each year for the past 10 years and Wildcat Cabin was by far the best time yet. The house offered more than ample space to sleep and lounge around, spent most of the day Saturday outside enjoying the yard and firepit.
We all voted to go back in the spring can't wait. Very clean inside and out. Nothing not to enjoy about Wildcat Cabin.

Even Great During Rainy Days

Two sets of grandparents, their adult children and spouses and three rambunctious grandkids visited in early October. It was supposed to rain all weekend, but just like Scott told us, there was plenty to do to keep ourselves entertained inside. We played ping pong, board games and air hockey, and made ourselves two lovely dinners using the kitchen. When the weather broke on Sunday, we enjoyed hiking nearby with fall color at about 75% and on the way home were treated to a rainbow going right over the cabin. A short but sweet stay.

We had a really great time at the Wildcat. We were there the last week in July luck enough to have really nice weather. The cabin is super nice and Scott is the type of guy who is available to answer all questions and make sure that his guest have a great time. You can tell that is genuine. Thanks Scott. In attendance were 4 adults an 4 kids (4, 6, 13, 14). The cabin was plenty big enough. We did not even use the second bedroom on the 2nd floor since 1 adult and 2 kids slept in the big "bunkroom" (not shown in the pictures) which is next to the gameroom on the lower level. The two lakes were beautifil and clean and only a short drive away and great for the kids and adults to swim. We spent three nights around the firepit toasting marshmellows. Days were spent swimming in the lakes, hiking, canoeing, sightseeing. The two teenagers had plently to do. The cabin is really nicely appointed, great furniture and decorations. Most nights we ate on the deck overlooking the moutains. Cool in the evenings nice and sunny during the day. I would highly recommend this cabin to families with or without kids it was really a great time. Los of exciting stuff to do in a great "homebase".
