Registered Maine Guide on site. Gas log fireplace, stone patio, gas grill, kitchenette inside with full-size fridge. 400-foot private trail. Forested 'tribal council' area with stone patio and campfire pit with leanto for use by guests. Quite rural location. Four miles from town, one mile from entrance to park carriage roads. Free island shuttle bus stops at property. Open year round. One bedroom, living area, cozy bath with shower and plenty of hot water. Reading loft with views.

Hiking and Biking in Acadia National Park with some trail heads just over a mile away. In season (June -Sept.) The free Island Explorer shuttle bus runs past the driveway dozens of times a day. Just flag down to go anywhere on Mount Desert Island and in the park without having to use your car!
