Come enjoy a beautiful contemporary Pocono retreat to get away and just relax! Lake view with dock for fishing, swimming and sunbathing. This newer chalet features cathedral ceilings, free standing wood burning stove, open floor plan, skylights, comfortable furnishings, charming breakfast bar, plus a large deck for entertaining. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with tableware, cooking utensils, pots/pans, refrigerator, microwave and stove. The dining area seats 6. One bedroom features a queen size bed, dresser and closet. The other bedroom has a full/ twin bunk, dresser, TV/DVD flatscreen and closet. Plenty of blankets, comforters and pillows are provided. For your convenience high speed wireless internet, central air and a stackable washer/dryer are available. Have it all- enjoy the wilderness from the deck off the livingroom, utilize the dock and lake for some fun in the water (or on the ice), take a short walk to several restaurants and shops. Within minutes, enjoy skiing, snowboarding or tubing at Big Boulder and Jack Frost in the winter or paintball, hiking and festivals in the summer. Nearby there are riding stables, whitewater rafting, paintball, shopping in Historic Jim Thorpe or The Crossings Pocono outlets, minutes from Pocono Raceway and Penn's Peak for entertainment. There is plenty to do all year round.

Had a great time relaxing at Lake Harmony at this bright and cheery retreat. Owner was very friendly and flexible and provided a wealth of information about the stay. House is very clean and modern with a slight rustic twist. Deck and back yard have plenty of room for relaxing and lake is easily accessible.

I rented this for an all girls getaway and the gals are still praising me:)

This charming small home is well kept & clean. The large deck is great for dining or snapping close ups of the deer & wild turkey. If it's ducks you're looking for, the lake is a short stroll down the driveway. We didn't have a boat but we liked watching them go by!

There's plenty of places to eat & socialize within walking distance. And there's adventures and sights to see within a few miles.
Yes, I'd do it again.

Excellent Vacation Home!

I rented this home in 2009 for a week and had a wonderful time. I didn't realize I hadn't written a review until now, when I looked up the property to rent it for a second time in 2010. The owner was very accommodating as I discretely made reservations for my boyfriend's 40th birthday. When we met her, she was very pleasant and easy going. The house was very neat and tidy, which is was what attracted me to this property in the first place, as the pictures do a great job showing how clean the house is kept. I literally felt like I was at home. The pictures don't lie either! While we were there we went to a Nascar race, horseback riding, white water rafting, and enjoyed taking our boat out on the lake. The local restaurants were excellent, but do take note of their hours. Once you taste their food, you won't mind! It was very nice to be able to vacation on the same lake that my parents took me to every year as a child. I have already recommended this property to family and friends and I can picture myself renting this property for years to come!
