This place was incredible! Bigger and better than I expected. The owner always got right back to me by email and was very pleasant. The place was spotless and beautiful. The downstairs is completely private with 2 bedrooms along with a game room and a bathroom. We never heard them downstairs playing games until 2am! The snow was gorgeous. We went downshill skiing at Burke, snowshoeing and also pulled our 5 year old grandson around in a sled. He was thrilled with the bunkbed and the scoobydoo sheets! The kitchen is set for cooking for a large group. I highly recommend this place. It is in a gorgeous section of Vermont.
Amazing location. Great kitchen. Perfect for groups to spread out and relax. Beds were great and showers hot! The Best rental in the area.
This cabin was absolutely perfect for our big group - clean, modern, spacious, secluded and had all the kitchen supplies you can ever need. Everyone in our group said it was the nicest house they've stayed at out of all the rental houses they've been to. We definitely want to come back again!
We had a group of eleven mountain bikers stay for a long weekend of riding the Kingdom Trails and Burke Mountain Bike Park trails. The house is spacious and easily accommodated our group for our sleeping, cooking, eating, and après-ride relaxation needs.
Sleep comes easily after epic days riding on countless miles of trails, comfortable beds, and the babbling brook which you can hear from many rooms in the house.
The house is located a short ride away from the lower part of the Knightslayer trail, making it a quick ride down to jump on the lift to access the bike park trails.
We rented this home for the weekend of our son's wedding. The home was exactly as described in the ad. The layout of the bedrooms and all the rooms were planned perfectly for our extended family of fifteen. The children enjoyed the whole downstairs for themselves while the grown ups visited in the cozy and spacious combination living room, dining room, and kitchen. The owners quickly returned all my emails and were more than willing to help us with anything we needed. We have recommend this property to friends of ours and we plan to return to the area in the future and will definitely rent this home again.
East Burke is a darling town and the area was brilliant in fall color. We will have wonderful lasting memories of our experience.
We had a fabulous time. The house was clean and spacious. Well maintained. All amenities. Great "cooks" kitchen. A great value, especially if you are traveling with multiple families. Owner had fantastic customer service. He was easy to stay in touch with. Our security deposit was quickly returned. Nestled in beautiful Burke Mt. A must see !!!!
