My wife and I have stayed in this unit for 2 winters now and we have loved every minute! Until you have stayed here, you cannot appreciate the beauty and peace and quiet of the surroundings. This is an end unit of 4 condos, and we have rarely seen anyone in any of the other 3 condos. When they are occupied, they are very quiet. The patio faces East, which is perfect for those warm days (no afternoon sun). And the wind, when it comes to the desert, comes from the west, so we can sit out and enjoy the golf course view and be completely sheltered from the wind. The unit itself is very large for 1200 SF. The filtered water is a real plus as is the internet access. The ceiling fans are nice, especially on warm days, but the AC makes hot days bearable. The bathrooms are very spacious, with 2 vanities in each bathroom. It is about 30 yards to the pool and hot tub, where some days you have it all to yourself. We have had our son's family visit and the unit has aerobeds for the kids... plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. We would like to return next winter, but circumstances prohibit us from doing so. You can't miss on this property. The owners are super nice and have been so easy to contact. We have had some logistic problems with check-in dates, and they have bent over backwards to help us out. Security in the Desert Princess is great... we feel so secure here. I have checked around quite a bit for affordable housing in this area, and this condo is really one of the greatest values out there. We will truly miss our home away from home!
