Private ground floor compact apartment .

WE ARE NOT A CONDO AND ARE NOT LOCATED IN AN APARTMENT/CONDO COMPLEX. PLEASE NOTE THAT COOKING FACILITIES ARE STRICTLY LIMITED - SEE DETAILED DESCRIPTION.

Accommodation is situated in the city of Ivins which is located at the base of the majestic cliffs of Vermillion sandstone in Southwestern Utah. Ivins is very close to Snow Canyon State Park and has biking and hiking trails together with many golf courses in Washington County. You have a short drive to Gunlock Reservoir, Zion National Park and Pine Valley. A little further away is Bryce Canyon, Brian Head and the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Downtown St George is just 5 miles away and if you feel the need for the bright lights of Las Vegas that is a little under 2 hours away. If you want peace and quiet together with breathtaking views then Ivins is for you.

The suite is part of the owners home tastefully decorated sleeps a maximum of two (king bed) and is very private with its own entrance.

The accommodation consists of: bedroom and lounge area, full bath with tub and shower,kitchen area with sink, toaster , coffee maker, microwave, fridge and plenty of storage.Laundry facilities are available. There is a full size flat screen TV with cable. Off road parking for one vehicle is available and garage space for bikes or golf clubs if required. Front courtyard with patio furniture is available for guests

About Melanie Thompson

My husband and I moved to the St George area from England in 2004 looking to retire in the sun. We purchased our home here in Ivins in approx 2007 and after having many many european friends visit for vacations we thought it would be a great idea to let visitors experience what we experience every single day.

We share our home with our 2 very sociable rescue dogs , Mickey Finn and Harley Brown

We chose this area for the views. , hiking and biking trails and its quiet rural setting.

What makes this cottage unique

The area is beautiful and close to many hiking / biking trails together with the many golf courses in the area. The studio is completly self contained and very private. If you want a comfortable place to stay at a great price but dont want to be in an apartment complex then this is the place for you.

Nothing but the best!

First class retreat for two! This was the perfect location for my wife and I as we toured as many of the National Parks as possible. We will be returning in the future to finish our tours.

Our hosts were accommodating and made themselves available if needed. Everything to make our stay relaxing and comfortable was available.

This is a no-brainer...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Not enough stars to rate accordingly.

We had a great time staying here, it's a quiet neighbourhood within easy reach of lots of attractions. The studio was everything we'd hoped it would be, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Felt like we were staying in a real American home. The owners are a very pleasant couple and most helpful. St George has good shopping facilities and some great eating places, eg, Sakura Japanese steakhouse. The Italian restaurant (Between the Slices) a couple of blocks from the casita is also good. If you're just looking for a sandwich, the cafe attached to the filling station at the junction of W Sunset Blvd and N Canyon View Dr. is good value.

Note to European visitors - stock up on booze before you enter Utah!

We stayed here for two weeks and found the whole experience relaxing and peaceful. Also good value compared to a hotel. Our hosts were unobtrusive but available and very helpful if needed.

This area with its scenic beauty is a good base to explore from. We especially enjoyed the nearby parks: Snow Canyon State Park and Zion National Park. Walking these beautiful trails and others, like the Anasazi Trail, was the highlight of our trip.

We highly recommend the Casita!

Quiet, comfortable long weekend!

My husband and I spent three nights in the Casita during the St.George Parade of Homes. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, and the availability of a toaster oven and dishes/utensils (so we could enjoy our reheated Pizza Factory pizza!). It was a quiet, restful place to stay. And you can't beat the price!
