Hi Potential Renter,

Our home is a beautiful Cape Cod that has been professionally decorated throughout. It is warm and charming and has plenty of space to relax. It offers 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 full baths, a large kitchen and back yard, with only steps to our private deeded access to the beach on beautiful Lake Michigan.

We have a NEW stainless steel stove, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, blender, mixer, full size washer and dryer, outdoor gas grill, fire pit, air conditioning, comfortable 300 count sheets, etc. This is not your basic rental. Our home is special to us, and we are picky; if you are someone who appreciates the nice things in life and can take care of our home as if they were your own, this rental is for you. We require a security deposit of $600 which is fully refundable when the home is left as you found it.

Our two families (with four adults, four children between ages 10 and 6, and a 2-year old) rented the property for a weekend vacation. Not only did we love the small town of South Haven, but after seeing other places to stay, we felt we had made the best selection on our lodging. The house is just adorable! It's decor is out of a magazine, it's inviting, clean, and has lots of space for us to sleep, prepare meals, play, and relax. The owners provided everything we would need for a week's stay. Our location was ideal! We were close enough to the town that we could safely walk or bike to enjoy the sites, restaurants, and shops. The house sits in had a quiet neighborhood setting which really made us feel apart of the community. Best of all was our beach access...it was such a short walk, and we felt like our families had our own private beach! It was perfect!
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

My family (two grandparents, daughter and son-in-law, two grandsons) loves this house. The grandsons play on the swing, run around on the lawn and have had every board game out. The kitchen area is great for cooking and holding the family together. Lake trout grills up quickly on the grill. Everyone sleeps well. The entire house is well appointed and provides plenty of space. This was our second stay and we would recommend the place without reservation.

We brought our daughter, son-in-law and our two grandsons to stay at this South Haven cottage for a long fall weekend. Although it rained for most of our stay, everyone had a great time because the house is so spacious and well appointed. My wife and daughter didn't mind that the boys played on the floors so much because everything was so clean! Of course there are things to do in South Haven in any weather, but the house saved the trip. We'll come back.

Had a wonderful time the last week of July! Your home is lovely. Lots of room, too. The weather was fabulous & the water, warm. The private beach was a plus. Spent a lot of time on your spacious, pretty patio. Enjoyed the firepit in the evenings. Walked to Kids Korner. Good restaurants in South Haven, a cute town. We'll be back!
