Secluded on a private gated road at the northern end of Long Lake. 700 ft of sand beach with large standing boulders, high peak mountain views, large towering hemlocks on the largest part of the lake. Listen to the Loons coo in the sleeping porch at night. Only three other camps in view from the dock. All New York State, forever wild land across the lake. The camp is on Long Lake in the Adirondack mountains of Northern New York about 45 minutes south of Lake Placid, NY. The cozy town of Long Lake is just a car ride OR scenic boat ride away for dining, food stores, shopping.

Golf at High Peaks golf coarse in Newcom with 'great mountain views' is 20 minutes down the road. It is a fabulous walk even if you do not golf. Golf in Tupper Lake is 20 minutes away. Golf at Saranac Lake is 35 minutes away. Lake Placid has summer bob sled ride, ice shaking events and other Olympic training events. Contact us for a link to a slide show tour. Lake Placid horse show is a must see.

Blue Mountain Lake Museum is 15 minutes away. The wild center museum is 20 minutes in Tupper Lake.

This camp is absolutely magical. The main house is immaculate and beautifully decorated with traditional Adirondack touches. The grounds are enchanting with little surprises everywhere. We had amazing fires at the lean-to facing the lake and mountains every night. Bob, the owner, is so friendly and nice. We were very happy to bring our dog who loved running around the woods. The worst part of this camp is leaving it-I can’t wait to go back!

This impeccably maintained camp is comfortable and spacious with all the amenities of home. It is full of rustic charm from the rafters to the furniture. We felt like we lived in a piece of artwork for the week as the buildings were perfectly appointed and fit right into the beautiful natural surroundings. If you want seclusion, a gorgeous view of the lake, and utter quiet this is the place to be. A technology break for the family (no cell phone reception) was what we needed. The owners were helpful and gracious. One of our best vacations, yet!
