High above Warner Brothers and Universal Studios, this mid-century modern architectural masterpiece has been featured in both Time Magazine and the New York Times. (Please see links to articles below.) Known as the 'Roth Residence,' his extraordinary home in the Hollywood Hills has been described as a “work of art you can live in.” Situated on a secluded cul-de-sac overlooking Studio City with panoramic views of the San Fernando Valley and the San Gabriel Mountains, this three bedroom, three bath architectural delight has the feel of living in a luxurious tree house. The “Roth Residence” was built in 1946 by famed architect Rudolph Schindler, who was honored with the only solo exhibition of an architect’s work at the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art. It is an icon of Schindler’s groundbreaking concept of space itself as the primary element of architecture. A sensitive restoration added modern systems and amenities while retaining its original architectural integrity.
