2 bedrooms, 1 and a half bathrooms, sleeps 4

The cabin is on 2 1/2 very private acres in a great location off of all paved roads between Blowing Rock and Boone. There is new hardwood flooring downstairs and all new carpeting upstairs where the 2 bedrooms are. Our cabin is fully furnished with new Amish wood furniture throughout. All kitchenware is supplied as is coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. It is a wonderful place to relax on the large deck during warm weather or in front of the natural stone fireplace when it's cold out. We know you will enjoy it as much as we do.

There are 5 ski resorts nearby.: The cabin is within 30 minutes of 3 fun snow skiing resorts.

Freshwater fishing: There are many streams and lakes nearby.

Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park: Great fun for kids and grown-ups alike. It's just a few minutes from the cabin.

Awesome mountain cabin, Unbelievably outstandingly clean. Nice solid cabin and flooring that does not creek when walked across. Very nice fireplace and heater to keep the cabin cozy in the winter. Nice and secluded, very relaxing area where your not surrounded by other renters. Be sure to bring a box of dog treats for "SAMPSON," the very friendly and well trained boxer dog who will stop by several times a day to say hi. Snow chains or 4 wheel drive was suggested by another reviewer. I will second that suggestion as an inch of snow made driving my 2 wheel drive SUV up the neighborhood road exciting. Would suggest GPS if you do not know the area. Can't wait to rent again.

We just returned from a stay at the Warner's cabin. Our main criteria in locating a rental was to be able to bring our dogs. John and his wife were wonderful to work with and extremely friendly. The cabin was immaculate, tastefully decorated and just perfect. There were plenty of towels, linens and the little extras that you don't usually get in a rental. The kitchen was complete, we had everything we needed. It is peaceful and quiet, just what you want when you are in the mountains. The kerosene heater in the kitchen heated the entire downstairs and we definitely needed it. We didn't get a chance to use the deck or the grill because it was just too cold, but it is large with lots of seating. The cabin is perfectly situated between Boone and Blowing Rock with lots to see and do. We definitely will be returning. I'm disappointed that we didn't get to meet Sampson, maybe next time. Thanks John for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful, Immaculate Cabin

This cozy cabin was everything that my boyfriend and I needed for our weekend getaway. It was covenviently located near Blowing Rock and the overall area is so serene! We are both extremely neat people, so we were very pleased to find such a comfortable, clean and tidy cabin. Another added bonus...The owners! They were so pleasant and easy to work with. We had an awesome stay and we are looking forward to returning.

This is the 4th time we have rented this very clean and comfortable cabin. The owner is extremely easy to work with and is always very friendly. Upon our arrival the cabin has always been immaculate and is situated on a beautiful piece of property in a small neighborhood, with nice neighbors. The location allows easy access to either Boone or Blowing Rock in just a matter of minutes. In addition, it is located only 5 minutes too the Parkway. This is all around one of our favorite rental spots. Thanks Jack!

Great mountain cabin retreat

This place is great! I did not see a speck of dust anywhere. It is just far enough from Blowing Rock
for quiet privacy and just close enough that it only takes a few minutes to get to town. Great central
location for Boone, Blowing Rock and the sights of Grandfather Mountain,Linville Caverns, The Blueridge Pkwy and other attractions.
I was charmed by the town of Blowing Rock and hope to visit again soon! If you want to just relax
or do something fun and interesting every day, this is your place! Good restaurants in Blowing Rock
are close or you can just grill or cook at the cabin in the well appointed kitchen. We really were
very comfortable on the furniture and bedding. Just what you picture in your mind for a rustic mountain cabin, only with all the creature comforts. There is no air conditioning, but it was so shady
we didn't need it and even had to close the windows one night during the rain. I highly recommend this
cabin in the mountain woods, you will not be disappointed!
