Within Locust Lake Village, this house sits privately in the back of the village on a mountainside. Miles of hiking trails out the back door. Private sled run out the back door. Large decks on 3 sides, lots of deck furniture, huge Vermont Castings Propane Grill, and a screened porch. 5 person jacuzzi on side deck. Kid's game room in finished basement with Foosball, Air Hockey, TV VCR/DVD and stereo. Kids bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds. Full laundry with ski tuning workshop. Custom kitchen with cherry cabinets, granite counter tops, premium appliances. Living room has a Moose! Master bath has custom tile and granite 2 person shower, radiant floor heating. Private access to jacuzzi. 2nd floor has two bedrooms, full bath, private sitting area with telescope stargazing area.

Locust Lake village is a private, gated community. Within our village you have access to tennis courts and basketball courts. We have several lakes each stocked with trout and a variety of other species for fishing. The owner has provided a canoe for your use on the lake. The lake also provides a sandy, life guarded beach for swimming. A full playground is on site with horseshoe pits, shuffleboard, and picnic tables. A full service snack bar and bathroom/ changing rooms are also on location. In the winter there is ice fishing, ice skating on a lit pond, a sledding hill, and a ski hill with T-bar lift.

We have stayed in the Pocono's before but, with our kids getting older we decided we needed to upgrade our house to something bigger. This was perfect. There are 8 of us 4 adults and 4 kids(ages3-9)The kids had the whole downstairs to themselves. The only time we saw them is when they went to the bathroom or wanted to eat. The adults hung out upstairs it was ideal. The best part was the hottub. That was a definate plus, especially after being on the slopes all day and dealing with the kids. Even though the weather was a bit warm we still had a blast. We will definately be back next year. If you have children this house is great. There's plenty of room for everybody, so you don't feel like your on top of each other.The best part of the trip was sitting in the hottub, having a cocktail and looking at the stars . It was absolutely Perfect.

This place was great. My family and Friends stayed for 4 nights and didn’t have one complaint about anything. The house was clean and cozy; the amount of living space was more than enough for the 14 of us. 6 adults and 8 kids. We will defiantly be renting this place again and again!!!!!!!!!!!

Relaxing and fun

I rented this house for my friends 30th birthday and we had a great time. It snowed and we got to see a few deer. It was a great chance for me and 12 of my close friends to get together and relax. The house was beautiful and between the air hockey and games we had enough entertainment to last the weekend. The owner is very nice and willing to address any problems you may have.

What a beautiful place!!! Unlike most rentals...This house was immaculate !!! We immediately felt right at home!!! There were 6 adults and 6 children ranging from 3 yrs to 13 yrs and it wasn't crowded!!!
The kitchen table is great for playing games and the hills(???)..really mountains out back are great for sledding and hiking!!! Later, you can relax in the wonderful Hot Tub under the stars!!!
The kitchen was also convenient with plenty of counter space...I cooked a large Thanksgiving dinner without any problems!!!

Four wheel drive is definately a necessity though if there is snow...the driveway is very steep...picture a roller coaster and climbing up that first hill...we laughed alot going up and held our breath coming down...an experience...but fun!!!

I would definately stay here again and I highly recommend it!!!

The home is beautiful. Lots of room, well kept. Easy to find. very friendly and helpful owner. Driveway might be a problem for a 2wd vehicle if it should snow. Other than that it was perfect.
