Key Largo Vacation Rental house

Each year our family spends a week at this wonderful house. It is extremely clean, very comfortable and well-kept. We spent most of the time in the spacious living room which is open the adjacent kitchen and dining room. Four adults and two kids have more than enough sleeping accommodations. The beds are very comfortable. Our grandchildren loved the huge flat screen TV. When we could get them away from the TV they enjoyed jumping off the dock into the saltwater canal behind the house and floating around on blow-up rafts. My personal favorite was the marble shower in the master bath.

We liked to paddle the house kayak a short way down the canal to the Dolphins Plus Research Center where we could watch the Dolphins put on their show in their pool next to the canal.

After the kids were asleep at night we loved to sit on the back deck and watch the moon light-up the beautiful Florida clouds and listen to the wind in the palm trees.

There so much to do in the area that we couldn’t do it all in one week. The grandkids enjoyed swimming at the water park/community pool a few blocks away. The Theater of the Sea was fun for all of us. The Alligator Farm in Florida City was definitely worth the trip. We also took a ride in the Glass-Bottom Boat, snorkeled at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and caught a mess of fish in the bay.

There are some very good restaurants in the area, three within walking distance.

You can’t go wrong with this house, even the next door neighbor is friendly.
