Follow the path around the garden, sit on the bench, and enjoy the sounds of birds, the sights of butterflies and hummingbirds. A second floor patio provides a private place for reading and relaxing. From the rooftop terrace, you will enjoy views of the Parochia and city skyline with your evening Margarita! The rooftop studio (with sink and toilet) is perfect for painters (easel provided) and artists of all media. I am a mixed media photographer and can suggest many art resources for you.

Amenities & Attractions: A pressurized water system and large hot water tank provide an exhilarating morning shower before facing another wonderful San Miguel day! Three fireplaces give virtually instant heat for cool mornings and evenings, and ceiling fans ventilate the bedrooms and office. Within an easy walk are the town's main square (Jardin), the Instituto (lovely art school), restaurants, bakeries and the San Juan de Dios market for your daily shopping of fresh produce and flowers.

Bonus - Daily Maid Service: A special bonus for your Mexican vacation is daily maid service by Mari, our housekeeper. She will wash and iron your clothes, clean the house and kitchen (imagine - no dishes to wash!). She can also shop for you and cook delicious Mexican dishes, such as chicken enchiladas, chile rellenos, sopa de verdures (vegetable soup), frijoles and arroz (rice and beans).

We truly loved our stay at Casa Bella! The house is warm and inviting and obviously that of an artist with a wonderful mix of the owner/artists styles blended with the Mexican touch. Everything you need is available in the home including Mari who is always ready to help. She maintains the home beautifully as does the gardener. The owners are also always available for anything they can help with and provided assistance from booking our rides to recommending sites, etc. Would definitely recommend to friends/family and would go back but only with another couple. We felt we didnt get the full benefit of the home's amenities with just my husband and me.

The pictures by the way do not do justice to the home.

We loved our stay at Casa Bella! Even before heading to Mexico (San Miguel and Zihuatanejo), Carlos helped us with the logistics of our trip. After a long tiring day traveling we opened the door to Casa Bella and we were wowed! The interior design is fantastic with an obvious artist’s touch. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Mari who showed us throughout this beautiful, tranquil home and had fresh flowers, wine, and guacamole and chips waiting for us. We were truly able to relax, no accommodations were lacking. We especially appreciated the free long distance phone service and there was even a cell phone available which enabled us to take day trips and not worry about getting stranded. We would definitely recommend renting Casa Bella and hope to return ourselves one day.
