Fantastic Apartment

Four of us (two couples) stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of May, 2011. The apartment itself is quirky (in a good way) with sloping rooflines and beamed ceilings. It is loaded with character, and was probably our favorite place while travelling through Italy. One of the really great features was the terrace. We only ate out one night, because it was a lot more fun getting some food and eating out on the terrace in the evenings. The photos are accurate, and the place was spotless. The property manager, Irina, met us at the building, and was extremely helpful.
The location couldn't have been better. It's right in the centre of the action, within walking distance of everything except the Vatican. There are restaurants, cafes, bars and shops everywhere around the apartment. The one caution is that the apartment is on the 4th floor of a building with no elevators. Getting up and down the stairs -especially with luggage- is not for the weak-willed or the weak-kneed. But once you get there, it was worth the effort. If you're in Rome, treat yourself to this apartment.
