Upstairs there is a comfortable bedroom with a king-size double bed (or two singles), storage heater, an open fireplace, and a bay window which overlooks the garden. This is ensuite with a substantial bathroom and WC. A large oak door opens out onto a veranda (seen in the upper part of the photograph) from which there are fine views over the lower or Evening Terrace, swimming pool, and the formal gardens (which cover 3 acres), to Lyme Bay in the distance. Adjoining the Evening Terrace is an old fashioned Conservatory with large curved windows (the building to the right in the photograph). You can see the most wonderful sunsets from the Evening Terrace, underlined by the pool and gardens, with the pinpoints of lights appearing at Charmouth and Lyme Regis.
