You can see the most wonderful sunsets from the Evening Terrace, underlined by the pool and gardens, with the pinpoints of lights appearing at Charmouth and Lyme Regis.
General Area: For walkers and sightseers, there are many places of interest within very easy reach of the property in this outstandingly beautiful part of England. These include the National Trust trails and preserved sites such as the Golden Cap Estate, Lambert Castle, Lewisdon Hill and Hardown Hill. There are many picturesque unspoilt villages in the area. The nearest beach is at St Gabriel's Gap, some 1 1/2 miles distant. The coastline, which is famous for it's rich fossiliferous rocks, now has World Heritage status. Within half an hours drive you can reach the tropical gardens of Abbotsbury, and in that region and inland, Thomas Hardy country.
