Waterville Valley is a small resort town nestled in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Activities within walking distance from the lodge include swimming, fishing, pedal boats, hiking, bicycling, tennis, golf, ice skating year round, x-c country skiing, snowshoeing. Free shuttle bus takes you to the downhill ski area and more hiking. Also within walking distance is the Fitness Center with two olympic size pools, tennis, weight and cardio rooms, and Town Square has shops and restaurants. The town also has a recreation center and small library. Sleigh rides and Saturday night fireworks in the winter.

Notes: The Golden Eagle Lodge has a large lobby with a beautiful fireplace and couches for lounging, and a piano. There is also a game room and small indoor pool with sauna and hot tubs, coin laundry room. Bicycle and ski storage room off lobby. Playground and large field outside. Walk down path to Town Square. Fireworks every Saturday night in the winter.

Dealing with the owner Kathy was a delight. She answered all of my questions and gave us a fair price. I would recommend this condo to other friends. My brother is keeping the info and may use the condo again in the winter.
