Welcoming Getaway

I have been comig to Topsail Island and staying at Joy Sea for four years now. This beach house is always clean and includes almost every amenity you would want in your own home. In addition, it has views of both the ocean and sound from the living areas. The house is centrally located on the island so it is close to Surf City with its shops and Sneads Ferry, a fishing village. The ocean beach access is just across the road and there is a private dock on the sound that renters can use for fishing or boating. A car is not needed to go to the beach or to use the dock, but is to go anywhere else. I admit, there are a lot of stairs, but by the end of my vacation, the climb became easier. I like having the options of sightseeing, shopping, shell seeking, eating out, or just staying "home" to watch the beautiful sunsets. Believe it or not, after sharing time with relatives, friends and even children, I aways feel rested both mentally and physically. I'm looking forward to doing the same next year and beyond.
