This beautifully handcrafted open concept log cabin is located on a pristine campground bordering the Ammonoosuc River. Located 5 minutes from Bretton Woods Ski Area, The Mount Washington Cog railroad, Crawford Notch hiking trails, 10 minutes to Cannon Mountain ski area and the Franconia hiking trail system. 15 miles from Santa's Village, Six gun city and all other summer attractions. The amenities offered on-site include a swimming pool, playground, deli/store, Trading Post with gifts, souvenirs, hiking and camping supplies, gasoline, and a Quiznos restaurant.

Located at the western gateway to the White Mountain National Forest international vacation area, central to all attractions, on Route 302, 1/4 mile east of the junction of Rt 3 North (10 miles Northeast of exit 35 on I-93) . Our cabin is on the northwest corner of the National Cultural and Scenic by-way know as 'New England's Most Scenic 100 Miles'. New Hampshire's most beautiful natural , historical, and popular attractions are located on this 100 mile scenic loop. Our property is bordered by the Ammonoosuc River, which can be seen and heard from the Cabins. Hundreds of AMC Hiking trails, Mountain Biking, Golf, river activities, Santa's Village, Storyland, The Cog Railway, Clark's Trading Post, Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway, Franconia and Crawford Notch, Six Gun City, The Mount Washington Auto Road and some of the best Fly Fishing in the north country are all close by.

  • Rates are for up to 4 adults and 6 children per night. $15.00 charge if more than 4 adults.
  • Stay longer than 3 weeks will require a $500.00 damage deposit. To be fully refunded upon departure if no damage occurred.
    Cleaning rate is per stay.
  • Minimum deposit of $295 required upon making a reservation. Visa & MasterCard required to hold a reservation.
    All Reservation Must Be Paid In Full Within 14 Days Of Arrival.

    Cancellation Policy:

    All cancellation with 30 days notice or more will received a refund of their deposit minus a $50.00 processing fee.
    Cancellation made between 14 to 30 days will loose their deposit.

    No Refund Will Be Issued For Cancellation Made With Less Than 14 Days Notice.

    No Alcohol In The Cabin During July & August Only.

Golf: The cabin is located within 5 minutes drive from the Bethlehem Country Club, Bethlehem Maplewood Country Club, Mt. Washington Country club and 15 minutes from Waumbek Country Club.

Skiing: Bretton Woods ski area is located 10 minutes from the property, Cannon Mountain ski area 20 minutes and 35 minutes from Loon Mountain ski area and Attitash Ski Area.

Snowmobiling: The Northern White Mountain snowmobile trail system offers 1000 miles of riding north of the Notches. Snowmobile maps with GPS grids are available for purchase at the Trading Post. We are located near corridor 11 and corridor 102. Trailering will be required but parking is easily available at the Bretton Woods station and state owned parking areas.

Peaceful cabin with minor issues

Excellent location and price. Five min. from Bretton Woods. The cabin was neat and tidy. Owners were VERY responsive: I notified them of a minor shower leak, and they were there in 5 minutes to repair it. When it snowed overnight, we were plowed/shoveled out by 7am.Easy walk to the Trading Post. The Quiznos has been replaced by a deli/pizza restaurant, which makes great pizza. The only thing that keeps me from leaving a 5-star rating was the seating capacity. The "comfy seating for 4 people" in the living room is just the couch you see in the "Living Area" photo. "seating for 6 people" at the kitchen table is just not possible, as there is just an L-shaped corner bench which goes around 2 sides of 48 x 30 table. There was a picnic table outside, but since we were there in Feb., this was not an option. I mentioned the seating issues to the owners, and they immediately brought us a folding chair to use. The listing mentions wireless internet access, but it is only accessible at the deli (although I could occasionally get a faint signal in the cabin). One final note: the spiral staircase has small and somewhat slippery treads.

Came up for MLK weekend with my husband and 2 kids.
Wonderful location centralized to everything.
We used to pay 4 times that price for a lot less at the mountain.
Loved the store, very unique.
too bad no pets allowed but I understand that log home are very difficult to clean and the dander stay behind. Hard if you have allergy.

Wonderfull stay for a great price

We arrived during the Christmas Vacation in a snow storm. The cabin is remote but easily accessible. It was as if we were in the middle of nowhere. The log home is custom made not a kit and the fireplace had a lot of charm. I wish it was wood burning for the smell but the gas was much warmer.
It was much better than stay at Bretton Woods yet very close and a lot cheaper ( the year before we spent $4000 more for the week and not as good as this).
We are coming back in February and MLK hopefully.
We found our new best getaway.
