Enjoy this charming lakefront seasonal cottage located on three-mile Cossayuna Lake, nestled in the white pines of rustic Washington County. This quiet residential lake is conveniently situated within 30-40 minutes from Saratoga Springs (SPAC, Racetrack), Adirondack Park/Lake George, Battenkill River and Vermont. The cottage is situated on the east side of the lake where you will enjoy beautiful sunset views from the deck on the house or the lakeside deck. The lake is great for boating, fishing and swimming. You are welcome to bring your own boat or use our two kayaks/inner tubes on this beautiful lake where you will see an abundance of wildlife.

The cottage is clean and well-maintained offering cable tv, a library of DVDs, CDs, books and games, large picnic table, BBQ grill, two living areas, a screened front porch overlooking the lake, a kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster oven and coffeemaker. Cossayuna Lake is situated in rolling hills of scenic Washington County between Adirondack Park and the Green Mountain National Forest. This area boasts historical sightseeing (Saratoga/Ticonderoga/Fort Henry), activities galore for folks who love the outdoors. Saratoga Springs and its offerings of horse racing, performing arts (SPAC) beautiful downtown shops and restaurants is 30 minutes away. Lake George is also nearby with plenty of lake activities, shopping, and amusement parks including Six Flags Great Escape and Water Park. Surrounding towns of Greenwich, Salem, Glens Falls and Queensbury are home to antique shops, eateries, theatres and art galleries. Enjoy fresh produce from the many local farm markets or flyfishing on the Battenkill River. Outlet shopping in Manchester, VT is also nearby. Enjoy day trips to Adirondack Park (Adirondack Museum and many waterfalls), Saranac Lake's music festival, Lake Placid, Lake Champlain or Burlington VT. Cossayuna Lake will be your homebase!

    A 50% deposit is required with signed contract at time of reservation. The balance of the rental fee plus $250 security deposit is due 90 days before arrival.

    Only dogs will be considered due to allergy considerations.
    Absolutely NO SMOKING inside the house.

Lovely Home

Thank you for sharing your lovely lake home with our family! We really enjoyed the kayaks and fishing; along with the quietness of the area. The house, itself, is well maintained and was perfect for our group in both size (6 of us and a pup) and creature comforts (dvds, games, books, plenty of room to 'chillax'). The kids loved their own living room. The area surrounding the home is gorgeous--nature at her best! I would definitely recommend your property to anyone looking for the best of Washington County.

Now, about the alleged 3 to 4-foot pikes in the lake--I have a feeling I'll be back to find them! :)

Leave Your Cares Behind!

This lakehouse is a great get-away. The owners really make it feel like home. We felt at ease while we were there since we had the caretaker's phone number, should any problems arise. Otherwise, we were left completely alone and could actually feel that the house belonged to us -- for the week at least. The scenery is fantastic. Neightbors are friendly. Lots of activities available on the lake. If you can tear yourself away from the lake, there are many towns and places close by to visit, since this house is very centrally located. If you just want to stay "home" the house has TV, books, DVD's, games etc. for those rainy or quiet days.

The property was clean, well-maintained and as-described. The owner was thoughtful and quick to respond to questions.

Our stay at the lakehouse truly enabled us to leave our cares and worries behind. We couldn't ask for much more!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Romantic Weekend Getaway

The cottage was great! We had beautiful weather all weekend and got to enjoy the kayaks and water tubes. We had fires at night and enjoyed games, eating, and just being together. It was a great time and a very peaceful place. Thank you - we hope to come again someday!

Awesome Place for Families

We had a great time, boating and eating and relaxing. The kids loved running up and down the dock and throwing rocks in the water. It's beautiful up here and we hope to visit this area again soon!
