This is a place to relax and one with much activity. -- Falmouth has more public beaches and harbors than any other town in Cape Cod; some are on Vineyard Sound and some on Buzzards Bay. The town is comprised of numerous villages including its best known -- Woods Hole with scientific institutions, an aquarium and docking for the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Biking, tennis, golf, water sports are all near hand. There is shopping on Falmouth's historic Main Street and in Mashpee Commons.

Great house in a family friendly neighborhood.

This house was everything as advertized and more. It included all the amenities; the kitchen was well equiped, washer & dryer, great grill, we loved the outdoor shower (even the kids!), beach chairs, floats, little tykes wagon, kick boards and a couple bikes.

A closet full of games, puzzles, water guns, etc... Two TV's, one that played VCR and DVD movies, bookcase filled with all types of age appropriate books, and internet access to check up on my email.

The house was really clean when we checked in and the whole atmossphere causes you to immediately relax! It brought back all those beach house family trips from my childhood memories.

The owners were great to deal with and available anytime on their cell phone. They made us feel like family. We can't wait to go back next year, my kids are so excited to go back to see the friends they made this summer, to hang out in the park or get an ice cream at holy cow.

One of the best vacations for our entire family, not a bad thing to say about the owers or the property!!!

We stayed the last weekend in August through the first weekend in September. We were two families with 7 adults and 3 children. We have rented several houses over the years and were a little disappointed by this one. The description in the listing is not quite accurate and we encountered several problems. The area was very nice and the bike path was great. The owner was hard to deal with after we advised him of some of the problems we found and kept part of our security deposit for damages we disputed. If you wish to rent, please contact the owners first to verify the listing's acuracy and then take pictures when you arrive.

Enjoyable Time in this Megansett Home

Our family, including two small children, had a great time at this spacious, clean well kept home in Megansett. The house comfortably slept 4 adults and 2 children, and is large enough to entertain a number of guests. The kitchen & grill were fantastic and accomodated multiple, discerning chefs; we spent many hours enjoying the spacious porches as well. The house is located on a quiet side street, and Megansett beach is a short walk. The beach is a wonderful place for families with small children like ours (shallow water, gentle waves, tidal pools etc). A recently opened bike trail is also very close, and was great for biking and running. The owners are very conscientious and thoughtful, and were lovely to deal with. If our future vacation plans bring us back to Cape Cod, we would rent this house again.

Awesome Family Beach House

Four adults and five small children stayed in this wonderful beach house the first week of August. The house had all of the essentials, was very well maintained and clean. There was more than enough room for all of us to relax, sleep, eat, play, watch TV, etc without feeling cramped. The owners were available via phone or email at any time to answer our questions. We spent most of our time at Megansett Beach which is a five to ten minute walk from the house. We loved this little beach as it was very calm and had great sand bars for the little ones to explore. My children spent hours catching hermit crabs, fish, quahogs and searching for "jingle shells". We also liked having the park, ice cream shop, Dean's grocery, pizza and deli all within walking distance. There is a brand new bike path about one half of a mile from the house that takes you all the way to Wood's Hole. If you want to hop in the car, downtown Falmouth is only ten minutes away. You could also grab a ferry and head to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket for the day. I would highly recommend this house to my friends and relatives. We only wish we were going to be in the area next summer so we could come right back to the same house!
