We loved our stay at Pointe West this Christmas! The condo was spacious and quiet with sounds of the waves just outside the patio doors. Relaxing with a cup of homemade chili and cornbread on a cool winter evening was perfect! Last of all, the Pointe West amenities were exactly what we needed to give our family some great memories...relaxing in the hot tub after taking a 'dare' to dip in the cold pool....crabbing with friendly family competition in the pond....and of course cooking hotdogs and s'mores around the fire pit with Mel! We loved our visit and plan to return!

Great Weekend Escape!

Having just recently moved to Texas and wanting to get away to the beach for the weekend after Thanksgiving, we turned to the VRBO and found this condo at Pointe West.

The condo was wonderfully appointed, very comfortable and great views right on the beach. We had a very relaxing time sitting on the patio listening to the waves. It was a quick walk across the bridge over the dunes to the ocean and the beach was just fantastic.

The Pointe West resort itself was great and had all sorts of fun activities planned for Saturday that our little ones loved such as hunting for crabs and a bonfire with smores. We didn't realize there was anything like that planned until we checked their facebook page where they have all sorts of photos and updates for upcoming activities and events. Great fun.

The area is quiet and feels far more removed than it actually is. This was just what the doctor ordered and we look forward to coming back another time soon. We ate in while we were there since the kitched is fully equipped but while driving around there were plenty of little shops, deli's and restaurants close by that should you want to eat out, it wouldn't be all that long a drive. If you're looking for something right in the middle of the nightlife, I wouldn't suggest Point West.. if you're looking for a quiet, family friendly place with great beaches and lots of relaxation, this is your place!

We had a great time at this condo! The view was wonderful! Loved sitting on the patio looking directly at the water. The condo was very bright and clean. Loved the decor. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. This was just the perfect place to stay in Galveston. We loved being so far away from all of the traffic and people! We would definitely recommend it to our friends!

Great time in Pointe West

This condo was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The beds are so comfortable and the view is amazing. The owners are responsive and easy to work with and the condo is even better than the photos depict. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back.
