[2 emails sent to my friends/family from Property tell the story best] Day 1: So...THIS is paradise....Adolfo (property caretaker) picked me up at the ferry and drove me to this amazing place. He then showed me all the nooks and crannies on the property - quiet sitting spots that are perched either right on the beach/water, or high up on a bluff above the water. Each spot more beautiful than the last, and each accessible by walking through the most gorgeous landscaping/gardens I've ever seen. And of course, he also showed me the Jacuzzi and the pool...it was hard to walk by those (even temporarily). Most striking though...is how secluded it is here. The "black sand cove" is truly "all my own", and its black sand beach goes on forever without a house or person anywhere in sight. Adolfo had indeed stocked my frig with all of the groceries I requested (to a tee!) and I made myself dinner. While that was cooking, I plopped in a CD they have here (Samual Barber playing Adagio for Strings - magical), opened the Sauvignon Blanc Adolfo picked up for me as well, and sat on the back porch watching the light fade.I now sit here, belly full, slight buzz from the wine, listening to the rustling of the magnificent trees/bushes that surround this house, enjoying the sounds of crickets and frogs, and...wait for it....yup....donkeys braying in the distance. I couldn't make this stuff up. If there is a more peaceful, beautiful place, I don't know where.Day 3: This place just gets better and better. Lying in bed yesterday dusk, feeling the the cross-breeze (which sweeps thru every inch of this one-room cottage, and over me, like it has purpose), especially when you add in the LOUD sounds of the flora/fauna that hug the cottage is indescribable. This same cross-breeze (bathed in bright BRIGHT sunlight during the day - bouncing every which way off the cheerfully butter-colored walls) is present morning, noon, and night, and somehow makes emailing, cooking, reading, washing dishes, going to sleep, waking up....everything...seem better ...almost like I've never done any of them before. Occasionally I will put in the Melody Gardot CD (another that they have here - fabulous bluesy voice), but generally I let God's orchestra be my music. Add in the morning rain-showers, and I'm telling ya.... One of my friends asked me yesterday if I minded being alone, and I didn't even have to stop to think: "No", I said...."talking to someone during any of this would
