Wow!!! located just 11 minutes from Bristol Speedway this is the perfect place to return to after a day at the race. Winged Deer Park is just across the road with ETSU only a 7 minute drive. Central to all Tricity locations you can't beat it. This cozy cottage invented the word charming. It feels like home and is equipped like one also. The high end sheets are soft as butter. Relax on the front porch swing and nature will entertain you. If that's not enough go inside and play pool or watch one of the 4 TVs. Jonesborough is a short trip to enjoy storytelling or meander the streets of the oldest town in Tennessee. The queen sofa bed in the living room folds out to let you sleep and enjoy the fireplace and TV at the same time. The bedrooms both have king beds with double pillow tops. A twin day bed in the master will sleep on adult or 2 small children. A fireplace and a walk in shower make the master a dream come true. A custom bed will pamper the lucky one in the second bedroom.

Location: Tennessee < USA

It is just 2 minutes to Boone Lake and Winged Deer Park. There are many area festivals such as Johnesborough days, Trade Days, Covered Bridge Days; the apple festival and The Iris Festival. We have soccer tournaments, cheer leading tournaments and many others. Bristol Motor Speedway is just minutes away for NASCAR races as well as the Festival of Lights each year. It is just over 1 hour to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We have The Hands On Museum for children as well as Rocky Mount Museum for the whole family. Roan Mountain is less than 20 minutes away for the Rhododendron Festival. There is no lack of entertainment in our area. Check in 11:00 check out 3:00

  • The bathroom in the master has a large walk-in tile shower which is separated from the sink area. It also contains a large walk-in closet. Bathroom no.2 has a tub/shower, tile floor and lovely decor.

The Master ls a large suite with luxury bedding and a twin day bed for the children. A large walk in shower adds to the charm. A fireplace to cozy up to at night while you watch TV will complete the package. The second bedroom has the most awesome half canopy bed you have ever seen!! You will feel truly pampered while you sit at the dressing table to put on your make-up and catch your favorite show on the TV. The bedrooms are private from the rest of the house giving you a deserted island feeling.

Our stay at the Raccoon Ridge Cottage was wonderful. The cottage was clean and well-maintained. It was decorated beautifully and the owners thought of every detail.

The location met our needs - 10 minutes from anything we needed, but also private. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing get away.

For all users viewing this, I cannot express how very pleased my husband and I were with this vacation rental. It was very warm and inviting as well as exceptionally clean and maintained. If you are planning on visiting the Johnson City, TN area I would highly recommend this rental. It was far beyond my expectations.
